Exhausted but...

I'm home for the holidays, I think, unless I find a reason to travel again soon - the cold weather might just do it!

It was great to see all of you that I was able to catch up with and say hello. And to those that I missed - I hope we will be able to catch up someday soon!

I have 2 stories to share that happened during the DIS Con -

the first being that when I was at MK and got a call on my cell from dd, Wayne Brady (filming the Christmas parade) was nearby and asked for my phone. He talked to her for a bit and I took a quick pic of him talking on my cell to prove to her that it really was him!

the second being that my sis and I got stuck on Splash Mountain during the MVMCP on the 8th for more than a half hour - was anyone else stuck there too? Our log companions and us actually broke out in song hoping that would help them get us going. LOL. Seemed like forever and we almost missed the parade!

I was riding Splash on Tues the 10th during the day and it stopped 4 or 5 different times during the ride - made me wonder a bit

I was so pleased that you didn't hide from us at this year's discon like you did last year

It was great seeing you again. Not much time to talk but still fun. I still chuckle about Jackie supervising our meal at Hoop Dee Doo, she's quite the "mom"

Marla - no I don't think Barb was on the ride - I saw her after the parade and mentioned it to her.

Kath - it was fun to talk to so many new faces - DIS CON is a great time to do that! And, Jackie is used to feeding 4 men at her home thus the "mom" routine.

Good seeing you, Mary, albeit for a brief time. Not only was I not stcuk on Splash, this is the only trip, other than my first, where I did not ride it at all. I will have to make up for that next time.
