Excuse me, you'll need to see security. What has Mickeystoontown done? Update 3/25x2

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: You are wonderful! I love reading your TR. You made me laugh to the point my hubby asked me what I was laughing at. Once I told him, he said yep a little like Hannibal Lector. :goodvibes

Hi Lisa!!! Loved the updates!!! Even the silly pictures!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao: I love that John just had to get his picture with Tiana!!! Looks like Jesse is enjoying himself!!

In other news....No, we didn't book our trip yet! :( But we are definitely going. :) We are just waiting on a special "Bonus" check that will be allowing us to make this trip!! So we will be booking sometime at the end of Nov. beginning of Dec. The only discount I have gotten so far is room only, 30% off for Mod & 25% off Value. If we add the dining (which I'm sure we will) it makes the price go back up. So still not sure yet about where we will be staying! :confused3 I really want the extra space of CBR because we will be getting the crib for the room. And of course, I just LOVE CBR!!! ;) Still holding out hope for a better discount though! If there is one!!! LOL! (Free dining maybe?) I also have been trying to narrow down where we will be eating! So much harder this time around with the kids to think of!! 180 days is sometimes in Nov, so I need to make decisions!! My daughter goes through phases of being picky, so who knows where she will be at that time! As for my son, he is only 7 months right now, and will be about 13-14 months at that time, so who knows what he will be eating!!! LOL! I would really like to try the new Be Our Guest restaurant, but I don't really see anything I would actually eat on the menu, let alone the kids! LOL! We are definitely going to do CRT, Chef Mickey, Whispering Canyon, Hollywood & Vine (just for the Disney Jr characters!). Not sure where else though! Thinking of 50s Prime Time (we always love it there!). I don't want to do too many character meals because they are mainly buffets & most of the buffets have the same choice of food! Any suggestions?? Thanks!

Traveling with young kids really does make planning a trip a whole different ballgame. Not that it's a sucky ballgame, just a different one.

I've thought about trying the new Be Our Guest restaurant but I'm not so sure I am liking the menu. I'll probably wait and see what kind of reviews it gets.

From what you've gotten on your ADR list so far, I'm thinking the dining plan may be the way to go for you guys. We really didn't care for the food at Chef Mickeys but with little ones, I can see how you'd want to go there. Whispering Canyon has change their menus up but everything still sounds good there.

Our favorite table service restaurants are:

Magic Kingdom: The Plaza & Crystal Palace

Animal Kingdom: Never eaten a table service meal there

Hollywood Studios: That's a hard one since the T.S. are really limited there. We like Sci-Fi and 50s Prime Time. But, we had a good meal at Mama Melrose's too and we got to book the Fantasmic package which meant no long line for Fantasmic

Epcot: Garden Grill is a pretty decent character dinner and the food is served family style, not buffet. We really enjoy The Coral Reef and it's not a stuffy atmosphere...very family friendly. Via Napoli is one of our new favorites.

Outside of the parks:

Whispering Canyon
Ohana
House of Blues
Rainforest Cafe
T-Rex

There are a few other T.S. restaurants that we've eaten at but they were nothing to write home about.

Oh Lisa! LOVE these updates! Just :lmao: and :rotfl: while I'm reading!

I'm glad that I was able to put a smile on your face this afternoon!

I'm glad to hear that I've given you a chuckle or two. I didn't think about looking like Hannibal Lector at first but then after looking at it a minute, I could see how the straps could look like his mask. I look hideously funny!

I was behind..but now I am all caught up!! So glad I did not have a sip of my sweet tea in my mouth cause I would of spit it out all over my computer!!!!

I didn't know what to expect when I read your disclaimer. So I slowly scrolled down and...........................you exceeded my expectations! So glad you shared those pictures. They were awesome! I also loved the ones with John and Tiana.

Oh my, that was a great update. :rotfl2: I love that episode of Family Guy!! Your husband is so adorable in the photos with Tiana. I can't wait to ride Big Thunder Mountain..it was closed my last trip so I haven't been on it in like 17 years. -Amanda

Lisa,
I haven't posted in a while - busy with school - but I've managed to keep up reading your updates. Had to take the time to post this time though! The pictures of John with Tiana were fantastic, so great that your hubby has the Disney magic in his heart pixiedust: Plus the pix of you on BTMRR - :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: SO FUNNY!!! Thanks for posting them :)

In Mickey's Philharmagic I have heard of people actually catching the jewels! ;) Their kiddos are amazed!!

You got some wonderful parade pictures! That is one of my favorite places to stand because it isn't usually crowded!

Your beautiful self-portraits made me laugh out loud right in the middle of this annoying political debate so thanks!!!!!! :thumbsup2 :lmao:

I never would have pegged John as one to want to meet characters. How cute that he wanted to meet Tiana, and all by himself! princess:

I LOVE that you posted those funny pictures. I think it's all the funny, quirky, weird, uncommon stuff that makes TR extra special. And yours sure is funny! :rotfl2:

Oh my goodness Lisa! I laughed so hard at your BTMR pics...but in a good way! I am so glad that you posted the ones of yourself because you could tell that you were having such a great time. :thumbsup2 good for you girl!

Well, I'm all caught up… I think… :lmao:

I wish I could get some Crawfish up here in the Cornfields!!!!!!!! I know Tiana was missing some!!! I would have LOVED to see that on video!

Funny picture!! :) Good for you sharing the good, the bad and… the… well……. :thumbsup2

Unless Mama decides that she would rather stay somewhere other than the CBR, then we'll keep the reservation as is. I want her to feel 100% comfortable with the resort choice.

I'd really like to give another moderate a try but I want Mama to be comfortable. She knows her way around the CBR and that's important to us since she likes to spend time at the resort while we are at the parks.

Finally caught up with your TR!! :goodvibes

I love that you are finally back in the "Muthaland." :upsidedow The cruise sounded like it certainly wasn't for you and your family. I wish it had been, so sorry. From your TR it's taught me for sure it would not be for my family, I think I'd still like to give it a try if the price is right and the cruise is somewhere I really want to go.

I've often wondered if you were wanting to try another Moderate or resort, and I can honestly say if you tried CSR I think your mom would find it's an easy resort to navigate. Of course you'd want to stay there first before taking your Mom.
I'm sure Ms. Kat has given you the low down on CSR, if she hasn't then you should certainly talk with her. It's so pretty, and such an easy resort to get around in, much, much easier from what I could tell in your pictures of the CBR maps.

I LOVE the pics you took of yourself!! I didn't think badly of you or think they were bad at all!! ::yes:: I loved the last one cause you can see Jesse in the background screaming. :rotfl: So cute. Honestly these pics didn't even phase me except to think..."Yup! That's our Lisa! She's as silly and cute as ever!" :rotfl: I'm so glad you shared them. :upsidedow
