Just remember...........I warned you!

Oh my gosh Mom! You look like Hannibal Lector!

Ive been trying to find the words to start this next update and Im not quite sure what words I want to use. Hum? :confused3 Well? :rolleyes2 How bout? :scratchin Uhhh? Gosh, I guess I need to just quit hem hawing around and spit it out as best I can.

For those who are new to my trip reports, you may have caught on that we are a fun lovin bunch of folks! You may have also noticed that I take lots of pictures...some that are good, some that are bad, some that show us in the best of light and some that show us looking downright nutso. I post them all. Those of you who have read my past trip reports....yall wont be surprised by what will grace your computer screens just a little further down on the page.

Now, since Im the writer of this trip report, I could have chosen to simply delete the pictures from the memory card immediately and not post them but they were just too funny not to keep them. Do I look like a psycho? Yes, I most certainly do. ::yes:: Why am I posting it then? Oh I dont know. Guess I thought yall needed a laugh at my expense. :lmao:

**Disclaimer! Grab up a hanky cause first, youll need it to cover your eyes. Second, youll need it to wipe the tears from your eyes while youre laughing your tail feathers off. Third, your computer screen may get wet should you be sipping on any sort of beverage while youre reading. Yep, its gonna be that embarrassing for me!

Even though we knew that our Fastpasses had expired, we were determined that, no matter how long the line was, we were going to wait it out and ride Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. But, I also wanted to see if there was a chance that the castmember would let us in using the expired Fastpasses. He said that we could, indeed, use them since the attraction had been closed during our Fastpass time. Yay! We hopped in the Fastpass line but had to stop when we got to the area before you can see the trains. This would give us time to re-roll our ponchos up the right way (we had pretty much just crammed them into the bags when the rain stopped) and tuck them back into the big ziplock bags I had brought along for just such a scenario. As we were doing the re-rolling, we kept moving forward until it was finally our time to board.

Hang onto your hats and your hankies, oh and Lisa, hang on to your camera, cause were about to go on the fastest runaway train ride in the Wild Wild West!

I had the camera around my neck and was pretty much just snapping away even though I had no clue whether or not any of the pictures would turn out decent or blurry like this one:

Oh what fun! We all had the best time zipping around, up and through the mountain. When we got off the train, we moved to the side because I wanted to see if the pictures I took turned out worth a flip. We oohed and aahed over the good ones and then kinda ohed over the blurrry ones and then smiled at these:

and, then, we moved on to the next pictures and, dun dun dun....dun dun dun.... dun dun dun......

come on Lisa! Just post the darn picture already! Push the paste button and post it darn you!

Okay! Okay!

Oh my gosh Mom! You look like Hannibal Lector! We were all laughing our behinds off at that picture. :rotfl2: I was trying to take a picture of myself on the ride and the camera was around my neck and the straps were twisted this way and that and I looked like some psycho! We laughed sooooooo hard at that picture! Wanna see the next one we came upon?

DSCF2839.jpg

Oh my word! Im so embarrassed and cant believe that Im actually posting these pictures. I hope that yall are laughing just as hard as we did.

**Up next: Im watching! Always watching!

Loved the update!! I think it is awesome that John even enjoys a greet with the characters.

And to your friend MissLiz, congrats on the Round 2 of the panel. I was also a Round 2 pick for the first time ever in 6 tries. So now I will keep fingers crossed and say prayers for the both of us.:goodvibes

And Lisa, we will never think less of you for sharing your wonderful stories and photos with us. No matter how "good" or "bad" they may be. That is what makes us all Friends in the Box!

I didn't realize that you had made it to Round 2 also! Way to go! Gotta 'nother friend moving on up!

Oh just wait until you see the picture proof!

Congrats to you, too!!! I'm right with you on the first time to Round 2. I have been trying since the first year and have never been to Round 2. I'm both nervous and excited at the same time.

I'm nervous and excited for you both!

O - M- G! I look even freakier on the big screen! Now when John complains and says "I can't believe you put that picture of me on the internet." I can honestly say "I've put an even worse one of me on there!"

Okay....I am peeing in my pants right now, thanks to you. :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao: I absolutely love those pictures and they are just so much the Lisa I have come to know over the years. Thank you for making my day.

And I am in love with the pictures of John with Princess Tiana...they are priceless.

See, that's why I didn't delete the pictures! I have laughed and laughed over those two pictures even though they are definitely not flattering. I knew in my heart of hearts that I had to share them.

John said that there was no way that he was going to pass up seeing a princess from his home State.

You are so funny! I thought the same thing about the condoms. No hanky panky going on while we are in Disney! :rotfl:

I have a friend with two Disney "souvenirs" -- their third child just turned two in August (that was a Thanksgiving DL trip) and the fourth was born just last month (2011 Christmas trip). We are teasing them already because they are talking about a trip back to DL in a year or two (she's originally from Oregon, so they would be visiting family and friends too). Four princesses so far, that's a lot of weddings to pay for!

That's too funny! Lacey is a "souvenir" from our trip to Durango, Colorado! We went to visit my sister and her family when they lived and operated their four wheel drive business there. They laugh and say that they don't have to ask whether or not we had a good time on that trip.

OK so that first one really did make me laugh out loud :lmao:
But that is what makes your reports so much fun to read!

And the smiley that I've chosen is:

:earseek:

and

:worship:

That is so stinking funny!!!! You are braver than I am, girl!!!! :rotfl2:

I have a huge smile on my face right now Lisa! Love these updates today!

I think it's fantastic that John wanted to meet Tiana. Isn't it great how well the face characters know their storylines?

Did Jesse love Philharmagic? It's one of our new favorites!

My little brother talks about that episode of Family Guy every time he sees a picture for IaSW. In fact, if I had a dollar for every time I've had to listen to him talk about that show--we'd go to WDW a LOT more often :lmao:

:lmao:OH LISA!!! That picture is priceless. You are such a good sport sharing that photo. I'm in the "deletes unflattering photos of self before we get home" camp. :rotfl2:

I tried post a reply to your first update from the Android app earlier, but it didn't go thru so I'll reply to both!

First, I have a confession. I have only watched one parade all the way thru, and that was the MVMCP in November 2010. I've seen parts of every parade from getting caught while they were going on, but I prefer to ride the rides during the parade.

Philharmagic is my favorite show at WDW. I have to resist reaching for those jewels too!

I don't blame John for being enamored by Tiana. My best ever character interaction was with her and Naveen during MVMCP in Nov 2010. Everyone I met was friendly, but they were the best. It was about 10 minutes before it ended and no one else was in line, so we talked that whole time with them never breaking character. They asked my about Maryland crab cakes (they thought they were the size of desert cakes and not burgers! :lmao:), they discussed how they will never serve seafood for Ariel and Eric again as they almost lost them as friends after serving flounder the last time they were over, they told me about Louisiana. They were just great.

I LOVE your BTMRR pictures! It was closed for refurb my last visit so I didn't get to ride it. I'm so looking forward to it this upcoming trip.

:worship: For posting those pictures of yourself! You are one brave woman, as I delete or just don't post any bad pictures of myself! :rotfl2:

Yay for making you smile! I've always thought the face characters were the best since they can actually speak to the guests.

It sounds like Family Guy is one popular show. Maybe I should watch it a time or two.

If the pictures hadn't been so gosh darn funny, then I'd probably have deleted them. But, I thought, hey why not keep 'em for a few laughs.

Like I always tell my oldest daughter: Normal is boring!!!

Then it's no wonder there's never a boring moment at our house. :lmao:

Girl, you gotta watch the parades all the way through at least once!

What a neat interaction you had with Naveen and Tiana! I love how the face characters can hold conversations with you while the others have to just gesture.

Can you believe that I posted that picture? What was I thinking?:rotfl:

Hi Lisa!!! Loved the updates!!! Even the silly pictures!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao: I love that John just had to get his picture with Tiana!!! Looks like Jesse is enjoying himself!!

In other news....No, we didn't book our trip yet! :( But we are definitely going. :) We are just waiting on a special "Bonus" check that will be allowing us to make this trip!! So we will be booking sometime at the end of Nov. beginning of Dec. The only discount I have gotten so far is room only, 30% off for Mod & 25% off Value. If we add the dining (which I'm sure we will) it makes the price go back up. So still not sure yet about where we will be staying! :confused3 I really want the extra space of CBR because we will be getting the crib for the room. And of course, I just LOVE CBR!!! ;) Still holding out hope for a better discount though! If there is one!!! LOL! (Free dining maybe?) I also have been trying to narrow down where we will be eating! So much harder this time around with the kids to think of!! 180 days is sometimes in Nov, so I need to make decisions!! My daughter goes through phases of being picky, so who knows where she will be at that time! As for my son, he is only 7 months right now, and will be about 13-14 months at that time, so who knows what he will be eating!!! LOL! I would really like to try the new Be Our Guest restaurant, but I don't really see anything I would actually eat on the menu, let alone the kids! LOL! We are definitely going to do CRT, Chef Mickey, Whispering Canyon, Hollywood & Vine (just for the Disney Jr characters!). Not sure where else though! Thinking of 50s Prime Time (we always love it there!). I don't want to do too many character meals because they are mainly buffets & most of the buffets have the same choice of food! Any suggestions?? Thanks!
