Excuse me, you'll need to see security. What has Mickeystoontown done? Update 3/25x2

Claire would be so jealous of your twins. When we did it awhile back she told me if my oyster had twins, we were trading. LOL.

That's too funny!

I need to spend more time exploring the Japan pavilion. Putting it on the list!

Congrats on being a fabulous oyster picker! Twins! :thumbsup2

There's quite a bit of stuff in there that your boys should enjoy looking while you explore further into the "girly" stuff in Japan.

hi Lisa
Hope all is well!

WOW, 2 pearls!! that's awesome!! I have not done the pick-a-pearl...I might have to next time...can't wait to see a picture of your setting!

If you get the chance, do the pick a pearl. It's a neat experience!

Wow! Two pearls. It's a good thing that lady didn't choose YOUR pearl. Could you have imagined?

Congratulations on your great catch!

Yeah, I had to catch myself before I tripped her and made her fall into the tank. :p Wouldn't that have been a sight? :rotfl2:

Good going on the "almost twins" pearls--Can't wait to see the setting you chose. :)

I was so excited when I saw that it was twins!

Great job picking the oyster! Twins!

My DD did that last year qnd I kept telling her to pick an ugly one. She followed my advice and ended up getting an 8mm! They said it was the biggest one of the day. She wasn't sure which setting she wanted, so we just took it home.

We ended up taking it back to WDW with us in Nov to get it set. It was no problem because we kept it in the original bag and had all the paperwork.

Wow! An 8mm pearl is big pearl. Congrats to your daughter!

I love Japan and all of the cool stuff there! And I really love Pick a Pearl!! I do the same thing...pick a big hairy guy and we have gotten twins pretty much every time!

Seriously? You have a lucky streak going! This was the first time I've gotten twins.

YAY! You got twins!:thumbsup2

Sam got twins when we did it and it was a big surprise. Her were the same size, 6.5. I can't wait to see your setting!

Too bad about your computer virus, I'd like string up who ever creates those things!

I guess the twins are all pretty much around the 6 to 7mm size then.

The virus was a big pain in my backside but I was able to get a whole lot of stuff done that I normally put off .

What a nice FIL Lacey has! It's -20 degrees here tonight and I can't even imagine being out in that!:sad2:

What a wonderful guy ...and Jesse looks a lot like his dad!

What a great ministry! Lacey is truly blessed with 2 wonderful families! :)

What a wonderful man Mychal is! The homeless population of Knoxville is lucky that KARM is there for them, and Lacey is lucky to have him as her FIL. Jesse seems like a great man too, from everything you have said, and you can tell he got at least some of that from his father!

Glad the tech got the computer sorted out. Good luck catching up with the work, glad it's not too much. :goodvibes

John and I are so blessed that Lacey married into such a wonderful Christian family. As a parent, you worry whether or not your child will be taken care of, accepted and taken in by their in-laws. I have no worries about that at all.

When we visited Lacey and Jesse over Thanksgiving, we took Jesse's family out to eat for dinner and Jesse's dad said that they had fed Thanksgiving dinner to over 500 people. He was expected at least double that at Christmas. He never stops giving and is a true inspiration.

Did the computer guy also show you how to update your virus software by yourself? Normally all it takes is a few clicks. With some anti-virus software you can set an option to update automatically.

BTW, I'm lovin' your TR! Keep all those wonderful pictures coming.

He did. For some reason, the automatic updates were turned off.

Thanks! Trying to get another update typed up this afternoon.

All caught up!!:thumbsup2

Great pictures in Living with the Land! Love that ride!:)

My boys got such a kick out of seeing the different kinds of soap in the gift shop in Canada.:rotfl:

Love your photopass pictures on the bridge in the World Showcase! They turned out so good!:goodvibes

Oohh...I really want to do Pick a Pearl someday! It's been on my must-do list every trip but for some reason always gets skipped.:confused3 Yay for getting twins!!:cool1:

Hey Angie!

We love Living With The Land too. If you ever get a chance to do the Behind the Seeds tour, do it. It's really not that expensive...I'm thinking about $18 a person and it's well worth it.

I skipped pick a pearl for years and years but now it's a "must do" for me.

I'm halfway through with an installment but had to share a funny conversation that John and I had last night.

I'm on the computer and John's lying on the bed watching something on television. A commercial came on and the conversation went something like this:

John: What you looking at sweetie britches?

Me: Jen's trip report.

John: What's it about?

Me: Her Disney cruise. Everything looks so pretty! You know, we need to try it again.

John: I tried to get frisky when Hunter was at Driver's Ed and you said no.

Me: I meant trying a cruise again silly.

John: Show's back on.

Me: Men!

I'm still playing around with the Disney cruise prices and planning for May, 2014. It sounds like I need to go ahead and book it and then convince John that we need to try cruising again.;)

I swear these guys are long lost brothers! That is the type of conversations we have daily. :rotfl:

/
I think it's the country boy in 'em! If they had their way.....actually I won't say it 'cause it's not very family friendly. :lmao:

Um Yeah! :lmao: Skip just went to the Dr. today for his first check up. He informed me he is good to go. He didn't ask if I was? :confused3

Oh Yay!!! Another "Conversation with John" installment!!! Those are too few and far between you know, Lisa!!! :rotfl2:

I so hope that we don't lose our teeth on these things!

We exited the store in Japan and saw a door just to our right so we went in to see what was in the building. There’s an official name for the exhibit but I can’t remember what it was. :confused3 Seems like it was something like Mythical Creatures and it sounded like a video game to me. Anyway, I took a few pictures:

I had no clue what I was looking at but Hunter and Jesse recognized a few things here and there. Once we were done, we walked back outside and saw that the drummers were just finishing up their performance:

Before leaving the Japan pavilion, I wanted to get pictures of the gardens:

Apparently, the majority of my family was tired of waiting on me to take pictures and walked ahead:

We made a quick pit stop at the bathrooms near the American pavilion and then popped into the store for a look-see:

Hum, from the looks of it we didn’t see much did we? :p

Onward my family! Onward!

Next up on our trip around the world...World Showcase that is...was Germany:

DSCF3769.jpg

At this point, I remembered, or, actually, smelled the caramel store in Germany and Hunter was on a mission to find one of the giant gummy bears. First, we found his gummy bear. There were only three left and he thought long and hard about buying more than one. In the end, he decided to save his money and just get one.

After gazing at the lovely caramel treats in the display cases, I decided on this tasty treat. ::yes:: The top:

Jesse decided that he needed a gummy bear too and nobody else wanted anything. I can’t imagine walking by all those delicious treats and not buying anything. What’s wrong with these people? Are we really related? I was having my doubts that we were. :scratchin

We sat down on the brick ledge to rest our toothies and it was then that I realized why no one else had bought anything. They wanted me to share mine! What’s a good woman to do but share or look like one selfish son of a gun? The caramel was sticky and buttery tasting and oozing with sugariness. :lovestruc Hunter and Jesse’s giant gummy bears were declared the best that they had ever eaten and they smelled pretty good too since they were green apple flavored.

As we were pulling off pieces of the taffy like caramel, one of us said “I so hope we don’t lose our teeth on these things.”

This was our view as we ate our treats:

**Up next: Knock knock! Who’s there? Me! Me who? Mickeystoontown that’s who!

Your treat looks very yummy!!!!!! I always walk past it and then remember it later when I'm over by Canada or back in FW and don't want to walk back. I really have to stop in there next time I'm there.

I was able to use a snack credit on my treat and it was well worth the credit!

Love the updates! Glad you got your computer fixed.

So awesome that your pearl had twins! Hope you have pics of the finished product!

LOVE the Caramel store, :lovestruc :worship: I got one of the caramel chocolate strawberries when I was there in 2011. it was Yummy, I really wanted to get more things but we were headed into dinner at the Biergarten soon and I was afraid it would melt in the heat. I will have to try more things next time.

I can't believe in all my trips I have never seen the Japanese Gardens or gone into the carmel shop in Germany. Thank you for bringing them to my attention...they are now among my must dos for the next trip.Love the pictures BTW

you are an updating machine! I read your post about the twins but was using my phone and the darn thing won't let me just reply sometimes unless I'm quoting which is supremely annoying and then it can take a bit to get back.

I'm glad that woman didn't take your big hairy ugly oyster, how fun is that!

Bunch of mooches you are traveling with I think but how nice of you to share your treat (and glad you didn't lose a tooth...this time). Cracking up about the conversation with John. I'm a fan of booking and telling/selling later myself. I just let Jeff know know we have a dummy booking :rotfl: and I made that back in August, have moved it once already and I'm sure it's not final at all.

We're just supposed to be good to go all the time, Jen. Haven't you figured that out by now? :rotfl:

:rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :lmao:

Oh. my. I didn't know about those giant gummy bears, but I know one 16 year old daughter who will love one of those! :thumbsup2

Uhmm, Losing a tooth sounds vaguely familiar! ;)
