Well maybe just a slight torrential one w/ flooding and tornadoes, but nothing out of the usual.. We will be spending our NYE on the patio at Rose and Crown w/ a lot of our pin trading friends, watching the fireworks...

W/ the thunderstorms predicted, we will be getting more boom for our buck


But right now it is warm and windy...and just perfect....

Well, I know it isn't WDW, but I spent the better part of the day in a sand chair, on the water's edge in Naples, FL. I gotta tell ya...it doesn't S@$^ (am I allowed to say that here?)

Anyway...Happy New Year everyone!!!

So, now that I spent several days in Naples...what am I doing next???

I'm going to DISNEY WORLD!!!

First you have to tell me that it is sunny and warm (its raining and raining here* anyone for a round of disney rain songs?*) , then you say, hey I am also going to WDW (and here I sit at work trying not to get distracted), and to top it off you get to get pins and pin trade. Definitely a cruel streak!!! I suppose next you will tell me you got to see my friend Robyn too. Torture, the pinboy is great at torture!

And we got paid back big time for gloating last night w/ the torrential rain....but we will al insult to injury, YES ...we will be seeing Robyn and family, maybe tonight..or tomorrow, and I will be sure to mention that you were "whining" about it!!

I understand, my sister gloats all the time when I tell her about the snow up North.
But I have really enjoyed the weather these past few days here in Sunny??? FL.
I of course didn't pack right again (last year it was 20 degrees) and had to borrow some short sleeved shirts from my sister.
We never did get to see all of you at Rose and Crown. We had dinner in Canada (Cheese soup Nat) and then headed back to the room to see the 7:40 Illuminations from the balcony.
The rain started just as we got to the resort and we decided to stay put.
We had the BEST!!! room ever. they didn't upgrade me to concierge as they had in the past, but they had us on the 10th floor looking out over the lake. Our balcony stepped out onto the large roof. There were no signs saying we couldn't go out there, so we stood by the large vase and were able to see both MGM fireworks and Illuminations. We could even hear most of the music. It was not quite the same as being right there, but with the rain the way it was it was nice to take the raincoat and wet clothes off and hop right into warm pj's.
I hope everyone else had a great evening, and I will try to get to one or two of the meets this week. Kathy has really been taking up most of my time here. Peggie
