I am going on my first cruis in February with friends and family. My delima is that I have been to the carribean before my family has not. I think I may just enjoy doing some simple shopping and head back to the ship and enjoy the peace and quiet. On the other hand I feel like being on vacation we should be doing excursions. Any suggestions. We are going to St. Thomas, St. Martins, and Castaway cay.
I wouldn't feel guilty about shopping and then returning to the ship to rest. We did this last year. Our kids were happy swimming in a less crowded pool. We actually saw a few historic sights just walking around to the stores. Vacation means doing whatever you want to do. If that's relaxing by the pool with a cocktail, so be it!
