Excursions

I am taking an Eastern Carribean Cruise and wondered what would be the best excursions for a 8 and 16 yr old. Would it be better for us to try and go it alalone or on the excursions.. its our first ever cruise..

Excursions are defenitly good if you want to see the whole island. You're going on Eastern, which is the most recent one we did... The St. John's tour is a must!!! It was SO great!!! It takes you to parts of the island that you probably wouldn't get to on your own, and they explain alot of the neat stuff on the island, plus, you get a guided boat tour to and from St. John, and you get back to St. Thomas with plenty of time to explore St. Thomas. That might be an enjoyable one if your looking to include your whole family on something.
