This was announced at D23 by none other than Capt Jack himself, who emerged from a foggy pirate ship on stage to announce that Pirates of the Caribbean 4 will be titled "On Stranger Tides" and will be released in summer 2011. Now how can I get myself to that premiere if they have it in Disneyland - that would be a dream come true!

Looking forward to it, (though looking forward to Rum Dairy at the moment which has been a long time coming.)

I can't think why you would find this news exciting Sarah! ;) Looking forward to seeing Captain Jack on the big screen again! :lovestruc

I heard they might be making a POTC 4 a while ago so I'm glad it's actually been confirmed :teeth:
The POTC films are some of my fave films.. I bought the boxset a few weeks ago for £12 in HMV ;D
The 3rd one makes me cry at the end haha xD

I only glad it seems that it isn't going to have Orlando Bloom in it spoiling every scene he is in with his poor delivery, especially of comic lines, it makes me cringe He has got to be one of the worse actors out there. Luckily the rest of the guest is great and Keira was adequat.

I loved one, two was ok but was not keen on three, hopefully this will be more like POTC1

Oh yes we need more Capt Jack :teeth:

Claire ;)
