I just got off the phone with Disney Reservations. I have booked our 40th wedding anniversary trip! An eight day trip starting Nov. 27th-Dec. 4th at POP Century (our favorite resort). Airplane tickets and rental car all done with park tix to be purchased through Undercover Tourist. This will be just the DW and I. Next are the photographic goals for this trip:

New Equipment:

Pentax K5 body
Sigma 30mm f1.4
an UWA lens (don't know which one yet)
ND filters

As of right now the equipment will, in addition to the above, include

Pentax K10D
Sigma 28-70mm f2.8
Sigma 70-200mm f2.8
Pentax 18-55 (2)
Pentax 50-200
Sigma EF 530 flash, one ST, one Super
plus tripods and other accessories.

The trip will include a one day trip to Universal to see Harry Potter. The trip is ten months away and I know it will come quickly, but I wish it was tomorrow!!

Thanks everyone. I'm looking forward to going 'wide' this trip. We went during the same time period in '08. I was just getting back into SLR photography after a long stint at PnS. I'm really looking forward to going back and re-shoot some things from that trip.

We just finished booking a trip to Banff, Canada next September to celebrate our 40th. To see the hotel there has always been one of our dreams since our first year of marriage.

A trip to DW and Universal is in the works for us too; just can't find the right time to go this year although I would love to go again in early December so I think your choice of dates is wonderful! We haven't been since December 2007 so I am definitely ready to return.

Again, an early Happy Silver Anniversary! We are part of an elite club!!!
