We are planning a mid-May trip to Orlando!!! We're staying off-site this time, at the Buena Vista Suites thanks to a great rate through Dreams Unlimited and positive reviews. We will have a rental car the whole time and are planning to do one Universal Harry Potter day, Flower & Garden and Star Wars Weekends (all three of these for the first time). DS goes into grade 9 in September, so we will not be galavanting off at low crowd times after this trip (I know SWW will be extremely packed, but we are buffering our days there with much quieter pursuits on either side).
I saw a thread earlier that I will be combing through that contains off-site restaurant recommendations (love the DIS!) Does anyone has suggestions for shopping? We have done the outlets previously however are there any stores in Florida that you really like that we'd be unfamiliar with? We live near Niagara Falls in Canada and shop in the Western New York area frequently.
I think we'll take a drive through Celebration just for kicks...any other suggestions?
