Excited for my trip home to BLT on Saturday but should not have checked forecast!

The tropical system that's headed that way should move through on Friday. If that holds, the weather for several days after may be beautiful. Then the normal summer pattern will reappear.

I have lived in north Florida these past two years...

I've lived in south florida for 24 years.

We've been going to Disney for 26.

I can tell you, it's completely normal for it to say that there's like a gazillion chance of rain .... it's always misleading. Unless you go in the winter/late fall or spring months, this you can be certain of!

However.... there is a storm brewing, and WHO knows when that will make landfall.. even if it does, I know one thing is for sure!!!.....

The weather is absolutely gorgeous BEFORE and AFTER it... it USUALLY doesn't hang around but a day or two...

So honestly, I wouldn't worry about it
