Exchanging tickets when we arrive

I have a 7-day MYW Magic Plus ticket and I am now wondering whether I should have purchased an annual pass using the DVC membership because I am now thinking about a TIW card. Will I be able to exchange my MYW ticket for a DVC annual pass and add TIW when I arrive?

yes, you'll need your blue membership card, photo id but you can do that.

Also, for your convenience, I would do this at a park (or the Downtown Disney) Guest Services area. This way you can go ahead and pick-up your TiW card at the same time.

You cannot buy TiW at the resorts.

BTW, we love our TiW card. Much more flexibility and better savings than DDP

I am pretty sure you can, but since I never have, I can't swear to it. Hopefully someone will come along that is positive.

Even if you can't, you can still use e ticket to get into the park from that entrance and just do it at the Guest Services location by Spaceship Earth whe you make your way around, to the front of the park. When you upgrade your ticket, it is based upon the full value of your ticket when purchased; the do not prorate it based on the number of days already used.

Yes. We did it just a few weeks ago at the Guest Services Window at the International Gateway - upgraded MYW tix to an AP and bought a TIW card.
