exchanging dessert from dinner to a snack credit?

I know I read this in a thread somewhere but cant seem to find it now. We don't usually eat dessert after our meals, can you exchange it out for a snack credit? Does it work with both lunch and dinner desserts?Thanks!

At counter service restaurants, you can trade dessert for a snack item at the same location in the same transaction. Is that what you meant by "lunch restaurants?" You can't simple decline dessert and have a snack credit added to use later.

At "table service" restaurants (is that what you meant by "dinner restaurants?"), you might be able to get a soup or side salad in place of your dessert.
