What type of milk do you, and your family consume? Is there a certain type that you dislike or just stay away from for one reason or another?
We drink 2%. I began buying it years ago because is was supposed to be healthier for you. We stop there though. Anything less is like drinking white colored water to us.

I love milk and dairy in general. The only thing I don't like is buttermilk. :scared: Normally I drink skim. Have For years. But love it at a restaurant when I get the full strength stuff.
(And tis the season for EGGNOG! :) )

We drink semi-skimmed over here which is 2% I think. We also prefer filtered milk as it makes the 2% taste creamier.

My son is only 2 years old, and he likes to play with handheld games, different game consoles like the PS2, as well as riding the different Tonka, and such ride on toys. Do any of your kids or grandkids ride, and play with all of these things?

When I was younger, we had stuffed animals, play toys, and a bicycle. Not all of these different electronic, and more high tech toys.

My girls are 12 and 10 and now like playing computer games or on the PC but they also still like imaginative play with their Sylvanian Families/Calico Critters - they have a whole town! They also still love their soft toys and things like Polly Pocket. We also bought an outdoor trampoline htis summer and it is stil being used. Both of them are huge readres and always have been. :thumbsup2 I don't like to see kids who can't entertain themselves without a screen in front of them, so sad. :sad2:

My 10 year old still loves grubbing about and getting in a mess and my 12 year old does too if nobody finds out! :rotfl:

Both of my kids liked playing outside when they were younger. I didn't buy them a lot of electronic stuff. James did get a Play Station one year for Christmas but it was the only one he got. We've never been ones to go out and buy the latest and greatest gadgets. Carol was always content with a pair of scissors, paper, crayolas, tape and glue.

Do the leaves change color in your area during the Fall season? Do you have pumpkin patches around you? Hayrides, and apple picking?

PA has a beautiful Fall. The leaves on the trees outside are gorgeous right now! It's really cool if you're driving along some of the major roads (turnpike in some areas) with the mountains just blanketed in color on either side of you.

We picked our own pumpkins--fresh produce is one of the good things around here. One of the big farmer's markets called Green Dragon is open every Friday and just right down the road.

There's also an farm a few miles away where we go to pick whatever's in season. Strawberries, raspberries, apples.

I was finally downloading pics from our trip and had to post this one! This is what DS13 does while we're at the parks--catches the lizards! This one's not dead, if you rub their stomachs they freeze until you flip them back over.

Yes, the leaves do go through some gorgeous color changes, but the length of time we actually get to enjoy looking at the process varies every year lol- most years it happens in the blink of an eye and then the first ice/snow storm hits or it gets very windy and all the leaves immediately blow away! This year was very good; we got to enjoy the leaves for 2 whole weeks before the winds hit and left us with stick trees lol!!:goodvibes

I did not know that about those little lizards!

More often than not the leaves here don't change color and don't drop. Mostly I can tell the seasons by the decor in the parks. ;) :lmao:

Also wanted to mention the castle dream lights started last night in MK! :wizard: :woohoo: :jumping1:

The leaves change colors here. We may not have all of the vibrant colors that the north has but the sweetgum in my neighbors yard is breathtaking this year. And some of my crape mytles are the most gorgeous red.

What you supersitious?
I believe in what goes around, comes around.

Our leaves have turned and are beautiful although it has been windy the past few days so some are looking very bare now. My girls love to go collecting conkers and have competitions to see who can find the bigget, smoothest, ugliest etc I don't know of any pumpking pacthes in Scotland and we certainly can't pick any fruit.

What you supersitious?

Not at all. The only time I won't walk under a ladder is if there is somone up there and could drop somthing on me! :rotfl:

What if didn't have internet access for a week due to a power outage, would you miss going onto your computer, would you not care, what would you do or shall I say what would you be able to get done during the time that you are usually on the computer?

I would not care quite so much because I'd stop messing around online avoiding doing other things like getting ready to go to work or scrapbooking. If I didn't have the internet for a week I would probably mind a little just b/c I like to stay in touch with my friends via facebook and myspace, but I'd live with it. I would be all caught up on my housework and I'd have more than enough time to scrapbook. I'm super behind so I am trying to catch up, but never seem to have enough time to do it. Hehe. :goodvibes

We once had no internet for 10 weeks! :scared1: I managed just fine other than trips up to my mum's house to check email and a few other things. I'm pretty sure my house was tidier during that time and no large ironing pile either;) I was glad to get it back though as I missed the DIS and especially the Dibb :thumbsup2
