What do you think of frozen t.v. dinners? Do you eat them? What is your favorites, and what do you not like?

I am not a big fan... I guess it comes from having so many of them whe I was a kid.

When you were a child, were you creative in making up your own games, and such?

Totally! I don't remember what they were exactly, but I was always making up games to play and stuff to do :)

I know my mom, dad and I would always come up with games, especially on long car rides and such. I do not remember all of them but I know we were always making up "rules" and stuff because somebody was always "breaking them.":rotfl2:

Definately! We didn't play with a lot of toys growing up. We were always outdoors running around, riding bikes, playing kickball. My dad used to make us large igloos out of really thin strips of wood that he could bend and then cover with large sheets of black plastic (like trash bags are made out of today). These igloos were huge, you could of probably gotten 20 kids inside with plenty of room. We had the most fun! We'd take old curtains and section off rooms to play house. And then a huge storm would come along and blow it all into the next county and Dad would make another one.

We also used to character play quite a bit, usually Batman and Robin characters and all the villians. We had a great time.

And that is just a couple things we did.

If you had a neighbor that wanted to make you a freshly baked pie, and they asked you what type you would like, what would you choose?

If you were to bake them something in return, what would it be?

Well, I would pick Peach Pie or Coconut Cream.....:goodvibes and I would make them Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies.

But, I am not that great at baking....so I hope they like it! :cheer2:

I would ask for a peach pie, and I would make them a lemon poppy seed bundt cake.

I would tell them to bake me the pie that they most enjoyed making. In turn, I would make them banana nut bread.

One of our neighbors recently made us a pear pie. She didn't bake it but gave us the instructions on baking it. It's in my freezer at the moment but we will get it in the oven soon.

I would ask them to bake me a coconut custard pie or an apple pie. Boy, I wish I had one of those today!

I would bake them a tray of lasagna.

Hope everyone had a great August month. Now it is a brand new month, and it is also the month of my daughter's birthday so todays QOTD is a birthday related question.

If you could have any type of birthday cake, what type would you like? Feel free to find a picture online to show us as well.

Here is a pic of my cake that DH surprise me with.
