Skor toffee bits. Bought some bags on sale, and decided to use them in my Chocolate chip cookies. They were the all time best ones I've made, as the toffee bits turned them into a chewy, toffee heaven according to DH and the boys. Have a great day everyone!

First off I can't eat there because of my peanut allergy, and now I can't eat there because of my sugar allergy. But my wish list if I could would be:

Double Chocolate
Butter Pecan
Chocolate Mint
Cordial Cherry.

Oh well, at least I can dream about it!

How weird am I, but I don't really care for ice cream very much. I'll eat chocolate, but that's about it. I guess I'd probably eat mint chocolate chip and peppermint as well, but other than that I just don't get the appeal! My family thinks I'm very strange. Oh well, more for them, right?!

I'm actually planning on trying a new bowtie lasagna recipe later this week. Last night it was a homemade salsa recipe. I LOVE trying new recipes!

Hmmmm, I'm not sure. I like easy ones though. And I'm expecting a new recipe from my new pen pal so that may be the next new recipe I try.

I usually cook from scratch unless I'm looking at a cookbood for my baking recipes. Have to make something for a potluck this Sunday, so have to see what recipe catches my eye in my Fav cookbooks.

I've got a wierd, twisted, dry sense of humor, and tend to do onliners all the time. Both my DH are like this, so we get along well, but my sense of humor is a bit more off the wall than his. A couple of days ago we were out with DH's family. His DM and DS likes to carry around tote bags, so when pics were taken of DM and his sister, I told my husband..look bag ladies!

I'm not really funny. DH compares me to Marlin from Finding Nemo. My jokes usually turn out just about like that

Hello all! New to the board and doing the pen pal exhange, and this sounded like fun also when I saw it! I'm one of those people that thinks they're funny, but who knows what everyone else thinks! I also tend to be dry and sarcastic, and throw off one-liners. DD and I have been walking in the mornings and sometimes I have to prod her to keep up...yesterday was one of those days and I said.. "Oh, look...a snail!" Of course her response was "where??" ...to which I replied.."oh, too late, it already passed you!" It took her a second before she started giggling, but boy do I love that sound. Anyway, so that's how my sense of humor usually works!
