There are a couple of meals that Joe would really like - chicken fried steak with potatos and cream gravy, steak and baked potato or spaghetti pie.

My dad would be happy with chicken fried steak and mashed potatos with cream gravy.

What was the most painful injury you had gone through?

I've only had one surgery, a hysterectomy, so I guess that one would be my most painful.

My 2 c-sections and a very painful cyst removal at the base of my spine. I'm currently trying to avoid a hysterectomy by taking Black Cohosh to regulate my cycle long enough for me to hit Menopause. It's working so far, and hope that it will continue to do so. Have a great day!

What types of breads do you enjoy?



I had gotten my bread machine yesterday, and is making my second loaf. My first one was a honey wheat, and the second is a cinnamon raisin.

I like white and wheat. Also, cinnamon/raisin. Sometimes rye depending on what I'm eating it with. I'm not a fan of the nutty ones full of grains that you crunch on.

I am not a fan of grains either Susan.

If you were walking down the street, and meet a celebrity that you would just be in aww of, which celebrity would that be?

I met Jay Leno on May 1st, and what a nice guy. A group of local vintage hot rodders (we belong to the Richmond Street Rodders) got wind that he was coming into town, so a bunch of us with our restored vintage vehicles waited on the side of the road at the south terminal of the Vancouver International Airport, and gave him a welcome to Vancouver that he'll never forget. All we were expecting was for him to wave as he was driven past. Even though he was really behind schedule, he took the time to sign autographs with our group, looked at each vehicle, and spent over 15 mins with us before he went on his way. It was an experience we'll never forget. Have a great day everyone!

No but I don't have any expensive jewelry.

Not yet! I have vacuumed up an earring or two over the years though. Had to decide if it was worth digging through a vacuum bag to find them!

Sometimes, but not frequently. And when I do get them, they are crazy!

If you were to receive three different types of snacks from a friend that lived in another state/country, what would you like to receive?

Something with nuts in it, something sweet with chocolate and something salty. And if all three things had all of the above in it, that would be fine too.
