When you are not feeling well, what do you like to do, what do you like to eat, who helps to take care of you?

I like to lay on the couch in my comfy pjs, have lots of chicken soup. Nobody takes care of me when I'm sick.

When I don't feel well I clean the house, not sure why. :confused3
I like chicken noodle soup to eat and I take care of myself, John works.

I think that for me, there are 2 different answers:

1) Before having my DS, I would sleep all day, watch tv, eat soup and take care of myself mostly. DH is always kind enough to bring dinner home after getting off of work.

2) Since having DS, there are no more sick days! While I would love to sleep away the day and just lie in bed, my little guy usually has other plans. He's just a toddler, so sitting still for more than a minute is a feat for him. I usually just take some OTC meds and move on with my day. When DH gets home, he'll take DS and I'll go to bed early.

Exactly - only make my Three Musketeers Mint!!

OH my gosh!! What a cute dog!!! :dog: Is that yours??!!! I'm glad to see there is another 3 Musketeers lover :love:out there!!! (I like the mint one too!!):thumbsup2:laughing:

I'm with Missy,:thumbsup2I like to lay on the couch in my PJs,watch old movies, and have homemade chicken soup! My DH stays home if I really am under the weather so he can go pick up my DD at school and take her to her activities. He'll take care of me if I really need him to! I'm so lucky because he will take over and do the cooking and the laundry too!!! :woohoo: Gee I have so much laundry :laundy:to do,maybe I don't feel so well today..........;):rotfl:

I take a shower and get dressed even when I'm sick unless I just can't get out of bed. I've never been one to stay in my pajamas and robe. I eat even when I'm feeling bad. I'm an emotional eater and I unconsciously hope that eating will make me feel better. The only time I don't eat is when I'm really sick and don't get out of bed. I eat anything unless I'm just to sick to eat. I basically take care of myself unless, as stated before, I'm too sick to get out of bed. Joe is real helpful around the house. If I'm under the weather, he doesn't mind doing the dishes or cooking. And if I'm really sick, he does other household chores.

Joe was also very helpful when the kids were little. My kids didn't puke much but when they did and didn't make it to the bathroom, he cleaned it up, not me.

I always sleep a lot when I am sick. Even as a kid I did. That's how my mother knew if I was really sick or faking it. I might easily sleep half the day, and still sleep a full night.

When I was younger I always wanted to change my name to Susan. Now I would keep the name I have.

I never thought about it. My first name is Donna, but I go by my middle name Susan. There were times, growing up, that I wished I went by my first name because there was a girl at church who was a year older, had a beautiful voice and very popular and her name was Susan. Most times I heard my name, they meant her. It got to where I didn't even respond to people when my name was called.

Both Joe and I go by our middle names. When we had children, we made sure that we called them by their first names because sometimes it is a pain to have two names, one for social reasons and the other for legal reasons.

My son, James, went through a period in Jr/Sr High that he wished his name was Clifford. It's funny because we almost picked that name for him. That's my father's name.

I am pretty happy with my name, Alex. I used to be called A.T. (my initials) and I hated that.
