My favorite show was a cartoon - Scooby-Doo and yes i still watch it.

My favorite movie was Mary Poppins and yes i still watch it.

My favourite show is a tie between Scooby-Doo and Gilligans Island. I still watch them, and have the entire Gilligans Island collection on DVD
My favourite Movie was The Amazing Race, and yes I still watch it.

My favorites were The Flinstons and The Jetsons. I do see it on t.v. from time to time, but my kids do not really watch it.

If you were to go to someone's house for dinner, what type of hostess gift would you bring without knowing any of the persons likes, and dislikes?

Ooh that is tough, normally i would suggest a bottle of wine but if you don't know them that well, they may or may not drink. If not wine then i would go with a dessert, but again if you don't know them your not sure about allergies.

Maybe call and ask if they would like you to bring something.

I would bring a bottle of wine, or a silk floral arrangement made by moi.

There are so many shows I liked as a child. Cartoons were Tom and Jerry, the Roadrunner, Bugs Bunny, The Flintstones. Sitcoms were The Brady Bunch, Batman, The Three Stooges, The Partridge Family. As a pre-teen and teenager I loved Star Trek.

My favorite movies were The Wizard of Oz, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, White Christmas, The Sound of Music, The King and I and Rogers and Hammerstein's Cinderella.

If I were going to someone's house for dinner and I knew them, I would just ask if there were anything I could bring. I don't know of anyone that brings hostess gifts but I know that it's done. I wouldn't be eating at anyone's house if I didn't know them.

WARM!! and yes we just got 5" of snow overnight and it is still coming down.

I would say warm. My favorite temps are between 50 and 75.

I like warm, but not hot and humid.

I like the warm weather, but if I were to choose from cold, and hot, I would choose cold.

Do you watch the show Cake Boss? If not, there is a bakery in New Jersey, that makes all sorts of fancy, and outrageous cakes. People bring in their ideas for their birthday cake, wedding, anniversary, holiday.....for everything, and they make different cakes.

So today's QOTD is-
If you were to get a custom cake made, what type of design would it be, and what type of cake, and filling would you choose?

No i do not watch cake boss. Not sure what kind of design i would want, but i would like a yellow cake with strawberry cream filling and a cool whip icing.

I would either have them do our 1952 Chevy Firetruck, or our Panthera Pinball machine. The pinball machine he would get a kick out of with the sexy lady with attitude, and a panther beside her. Filling would be chocolate with a fresh strawberry/whipping cream filling, and a butter cream icing.

I am not sure what I would actually pick for them to make. I think it depends if it is for a certain occassion, but I think it would be neat for them to make something that is Japanese themed. Maybe a Japanese garden with a koi pond, cherry blossom trees, pine trees, maple trees.....


I would have a chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting.

If you were to create your own type of smoothie, what would it be called, and what sort of ingredients would you put into it?

I would make a banana smoothie, except my bananas wouldn't be dead ripe (hate that taste).

Milk
Instead of plain or vanilla yogurt, i would use banana yogurt
Bananas
Ice cubes

might even throw coconut in it too.

If you were to create your own type of smoothie, what would it be called, and what sort of ingredients would you put into it?

It wouldn't be healthy, but mine would have vanilla ice cream, orange yogurt, orange juice, and ice. It would be "Frozen Oranges for Adam!" hehe

I would like coconut, cherry and watermelon, yum! I would make a slushie though because Im not big on the yogurt taste in smoothies
