I am out of my slump, or sort of. I had made a fellow fairy a card since her son is in the hospital. Hoping all the cards she receives cheers her up, and gives her some encouragment. It is tough whenever you have a love one sick :(.

I do have a Facebook, and play the games. Right now, I am focused on two-Frontierville, and Cityville.

Hi, Patsy! :wave2:

The FB games haven't slowed down, eh? I miss the games but I spent too much time in them and didn't get other stuff done. :rolleyes1 Better to stay away!

Now that I don't spend hours and hours on FB, I get to spend more time traveling around with DH and his work trips. At least I get to get out of the house. :rotfl:

Are you warm where you are? Any snow left in the mountains?

Welcome, welcome, welcome back!!! I will write back to you soon, I promise. :cutie:

Yes the games do take up alot of time, but it takes me away from everything that is going on, and I need that daily.

Not sure if there is still snow on our mountains. It is a bit chilly, but the weather is nice. Instead of wearing jeans, I wore shorts this morning when I took S to school. And after I came home, I worked in my garden. That is a true sign of my Spring mornings.

Hope to see you around here more, and maybe in the exchanges ;).

Oh my gosh! To be able to wear shorts again....sigh! :rotfl:

I hope you and your family are doing well. I see some people have posted seeing robins in the midwest...hopefully spring will be coming on very soon!

I will come over once in a while and see what exchanges are taking place.... :goodvibes

I know you get busy with your family so don't worry about keeping in touch...as long as you are all well!! :wizard:

Thank you.

Hope her son is improving and can come home soon.

mtblujeans good to see you back.

I'm on FB but I don't play the games anymore. I used to but a year and a half ago I was sick for about three weeks and lost interest in them after that.

It's in the 70's here right now. I'm in a gardening slump and need to be out there trimming my roses and working the beds getting ready for vegetable planting.

It's hard when your children are sick. I remember when mine were little and I couldn't wait until they could take adult medicine. Now I just wish that they were little again so I could pick them up and hold them. Carol's got strep/mono again. She had mono three years ago about this time and she gets the strep/mono thing each year about the same time. She hasn't been the same since she had mono. She gets run down easier.

I'm not sure. If I have my way, this will be the year we cover the whole garden with black plastic and let the summer heat kill any weeds in the garden and we plant NEXT year. I don't even know if that works, I've only read about it. And I don't know if DH will go for that...he loves tinkering in his garden.

So, the answer is I'll have to get back to you.... ;)

Do you have an Ipod? If so, what type is it, and do you like it?

My daughter has an Ipod Touch, and I never thought I would need something like that, and that my regular phone that I could email, and look up some info. on was fine. But, I am thinking of possibly getting one to download music, and such.

Don't have an Ipod. DH got a new 'smart phone' and I can't figure it out! :headache: Oddly, he is the one that has always been technology challenged and he can do a lot with that phone! :confused3

I have a smartphone that I use for music, and our computer. With iTunes, you can listen to just about any type of radio station you want for free.

Mtblujeans--it took me awhile to figure out the smartphone. Definitely more complicated than any other phone I've had, and I'm sure I still don't know all of the tricks and shortcuts. I need to ask my 15 year old nephew over to show me how to use it! :rotfl:

Also, I've heard that some people with an iPod Touch are downloading Skype onto it (which is free), and then using that as their phone.

No IPOD here but I think Joe would like one. James has one and Carol has a Droid. I like my plain old phone that has a keyboard so I can text.

I was given an MP3 player a couple of years ago, but never used it. Would rather listen to the radio or CD's. Technology is leaving me in the dust I'm afraid. Too many new fangled gadgets out there, and it's hard to keep up with all the new tecknological advances.:confused3:confused3

That is the newer ipod, and that is what I would look into. Wonder if they have it here.

Good morning. :flower3:

We recently switched to Verizon and we all got new phones. Like Kirby, I am just happy to have a texting keyboard. DH is the only one who got a full package as he travels a lot for work so now he doesn't have to find a computer some where to use to check for messages (emails). I thought I would like to have a phone like his with all those services but, no....

That's interesting about the iPod Touch. I'll have to ask my kids if their friends are doing that.

What is your all time favorite childhood t.v. show, and movie. Do you still watch it on video/dvd/t.v.?
