Wonderful photos! Thanks for sharing them and for your review of Jiko!

Those are great photos. I really envy you being charged the concierge rate. I paid the full $210, without wine too! Don't you just love it when the curious giraffes come up to the truck?
WOW! Those are the best photos I have seen re: animals at AKL. May I ask, what camera/lens were you using?
Great pictures, now you have me wanting to do this safari. I know nothing about it. What is the cost and how is it booked? What is included? Can DVC members book it?

Based on your photos, it looks like you have kids. There is also a minimum age of 8 for the Wanyama/Sunset Safari. There is reduced price for kids younger than 10, I think it's about half the adult price. For ages 10+, they pay the adult price of $160/$210 per person.Great pictures, now you have me wanting to do this safari. I know nothing about it. What is the cost and how is it booked? Wow, great pictures! Can I ask what kind of camera you are using?
Wow, that is high praise! Thanks! These photos were taken with a Nikon Coolpix 3100, which is an automatic 3.2 megapixel digital camera. Nothing too fancy! It does have a variety of helpful modes, such as sunset and action, the latter being especially good for animal photos.
One of the couples in the safari were vegetarian, so they were served their own special servings of each course. This contributed to the excess food, I think.
Thanks for this tidbit. DH is vegetarian and I wondered what they did in this situation. I was sure they would accommodate him somehow but he hates to ask.
