Excellent Call with MS this morning

I needed to purchase some one time points and dialed in at about 9:20. 24 minutes on hold, then sudden silence... after several seconds I could just barely hear a faint voice on the other end. It was really garbled and I couldn't understand her well, so she said she'd call me back. She did seconds later and said she had been having computer problems all morning. I was so happy she was able to do that instead of the call being dropped. Points bought and reservation booked in less than 5 minutes.
 
Great news! Let’s see if we get more reports with less wait times! It could mean updates have happened,

I have noticed more opportunities for chat as well!

I called in at 2:30 this afternoon and wait said approx 26 minutes...they picked up at 23 minutes...fixed my points in like 5 minutes.

I had banked points that were not used before my 2020 points that they fixed.

I've talked to THREE member service cast members this week. All three calls were pretty good.

Call # 1 at 9 am was answered immediately. I was shocked.

Calls # 2 and # 3 in the afternoon were about a 35 minute wait. Cast member #2 was a member in training. I feel like if she had more experience, I wouldn't have had to call a third time. With that said, we all need to start somewhere!

*Updated: Call #4 just happened and I was put through directly, no wait. 6:30 pm on a Friday! EST*

I'm hoping that along with the DVC ticket deal done, and more CMs getting trained, things are looking up in this area.
 
Called just a bit ago and the recording said wait time was 18 minutes, which was about the actual wait.

This is all wonderful news!!! I've been needing to call and dreading it, so happy to read this thread.
 
I called on Thursday and waited around 30 minutes to renew our gold passes. Was very pleased with that wait time!
 
Chat had to “put in a request” to combine my reservations. I almost got normal service!

Edit: WOW! My reservations were combined in less than 24 hours. Feels like it's 2019 around here.

I called in on Monday to put in resort requests and I was told it would be a ~45 minute wait (can't remember exactly but it was 40+ minutes) and I just checked the entire call took 35 minutes so I probably waited 30.

While I would much prefer not having to wait that long (or wait at all) as long as it's not much longer than that I'm fine.
 
Now that the DVC ticket offer is over (you had to buy it by 5/2), I'm betting that wait times will return to more reasonable levels. We'll see. 🤞🤞
 
I called 2 weeks ago and hung up after waiting 3 hours 39 minutes. Went online yesterday and got a "Chat" which solved my problem
 
I just had MS recording say 7 mins which was right. Sounded like maybe a new person but she was so wonderful.
 
I've called a few times first thing in the morning or in the evening after 8 and never waited more than 20 minutes. They've been very helpful... except I have ONE unbankable point! Very annoying.
 
Chat seems to be readily available, and someone was able to help me right away this afternoon. Question answered in less than a minute. Last time I used it, about 6 months ago, it was available but I had a long wait.
