Examples of DVC changing which points were used for past reservation?

I know this is a very long shot, but crazy things have happened lately, so I figured it didn't hurt to see if anyone had experience with this situation.

We traveled to WDW in February 2020 on current Dec 2019 UY points. We had a trip booked for May 2020 on banked Dec 2018 UY points (first trip was booked under 7 months, second was at 11 for a difficult home resort reservation or we would not have done it this way). Obviously, our May trip was cancelled. We booked for November 2020 and were hoping for the best, but planning for RCI or calling the points a loss if necessary. It is looking less likely that we will travel in November (both because of risk and because my job is related to COVID and so it limits my ability to take leave).

My question: Has anyone tried (or successfully been able) to get DVC to change which points were taken for a trip in the past as a solution to this mess we are all in? I assume no, but appreciate any shared experiences if they are out there. It wouldn't resolve our entire issue, but would knock down the points we would lose to 11.

No worries if not. I didn't have much hope so just knowing it has been asked and answered elsewhere is enough to let me move on with our other (limited, but understandable) options.

I want to say that it’s not evident in the title of the thread about the question. Like it was asked within another DVC thread.

I cancelled a trip, and with MS went over which points were used. Somehow they didn’t follow the bread crumbs, and they put back different points then were used for that cancellation. I keep a spreadsheet and can tell what points were used for seven years. ANYWAY, it worked out to my advantage as I was able to borrow exactly 50% points due to their mistake. I have 4 resorts, all on the same contracts number. I was waiting for them to catch the mistake, but it’s been 4 months, so I assume I’m good to go.
