I was in WDW on January 24th and 25th, for two days of Disneyfied fun on the way to visiting my grandmother. It was just my father and I (I'm 26), we're both in good shape and move fast, so we did a crazy two days, four parks, commando trip to WDW. I figured I'd share it with all of you, in case anyone else is looking to do a quick trip in the future.

We got into Orlando at about 7:00 - after our flight landed a half hour EARLY - and were checked in our room at POP a little bit before 9:00. We decided to go to DTD, had a delicious dinner at Earl of Sandwich, checked out the sights, and got to bed early so that we would be ready to go early the next day.

Day 1: Hollywood Studios
We grabbed breakfast at POP, waited about 5 minutes for a bus, and then got to DHS at about 9:00. I always go to MK first when I'm at WDW, but due to MK having EMH, DHS was our first stop. We missed rope drop, but was definitely inside the park by 9:10 or so. We ran to TSM to grab FPs, which were for 11:50 by the time we got there. After that, we went over to ToT and RnRC, which both had waits of about 20 mins. We went on RnRC only to find that ToT had a wait of 45 mins by the time we were done :scared: We decided to do Star Tours and the Muppets, grabbed a snack, and then used our TSM FPs. We checked out ToT again when we left and the wait was now about an hour long. We decided to skip it and head to MK, and this was one of only two "must sees" at DHS that we had to skip. I would have loved to watch Fantasmic, but decided it wouldn't have been worth giving up our whole evening for it, especially when MK had EMH. We grabbed a bus to MK and after waiting about 10 minutes we were on our way!

Day 1: Magic Kingdom (EMH)
We arrived at MK at about 1:00. I was so excited I was about to burst - MK is absolutely my hands down favorite! I was anxious to go on some rides, but we were SO hungry we decided to grab food first. We got lunch at Pecos Bill, missed the rain while we ate, and then were ready to go! We grabbed FPs for BTMRR and then went back to Adventureland and went on PotC, hit up the HM, and then went back and used our FPs. After that we went to Fantasyland, where we watched Mickey's Philharmagic, and rode IaSW. We were both a little tired, so we decided to ride the resort monorail and check out the Poly, GF, and Contemporary.

Our break refreshed us, plus it was fun to see the other resorts, and we went back ready to hit up Tomorrowland. We had dinner at Cosmic Ray's then watched the Wishes fireworks from over by the teacups. It wasn't the most ideal view, but it was nice, and we didn't want to spend our small amount of park time camping out for Wishes. We then ran over to SM and found there was a minimal wait because so many people were still on Main Street. We rode SM, Buzz, and the TTA all with waits of less than 10 minutes. After that, we circled the park again and re-rode BTMRR and SM. The only "must see" we missed at this park was Peter Pan, which had at least a 45 minute wait all day long. Once we were done with rides, I had a Dole Whip while dad had ice cream from the Plaza. On the way out we strolled through the Main Street shops and I grabbed some goodies from the confectionary. We only had to wait about 10 minutes for a bus, and were back at POP by about 10:30.

We got a lot done in one day! In hindsight I probably would have switched DHS for the following morning. It was a bit busier than expecting, which I'm assuming was because Fantasmic was showing that night. All in all, it was a great day at DHS and MK!
