Here's the new thread for all of our Dis-Meet planning for the Lapu Lapuettes and the Gnommies!

I'll keep updating in the posts on the first page so the current info is all in one place.

I'll attempt to moderate as we go so planning moves along.

I put this thread in the Community board because I expect it to go off topic, which is half the fun!

I think it's safe to say that all meets are subject to change before and after we travel to Orlando. We should do a private cel phone number exchange prior to the end of September.

We should attempt to stick to one day at a time to plan/suggest meets.

Since the most chatter so far for the 2nd half of the week as centered on Thursday 10/1, I'll start it off with a suggestion for that day.

I'll be attending the MNSSHP on 10/1. I'd be happy to have company for most of the evening if anyone wants to join me, especially for character meets and trick or treating.

Also on 10/1 there was talk of a Grand Floridian meet before some of the ladies had Tea....I'm not sure of the details so please chime in on that as well.

I know I've gotten a lot of comments from people who would really like to ride POTC with me. Perhaps we can work on some sort of meet during MNSSHP?

I'm trying to remember if I have a times guide from last year's party, and then we would have a rough idea of the first parade and fireworks, etc.

Okay. I know my family will definitely want to do the 815 parade (with the hopes of my son actually seeing it before he falls asleep), and we'll want to see HalloWishes at 930. Other than that, our plans for the party are very simple. We want to ride POTC, the Haunted Mansion, and my mom likes to go on Buzz Lightyear's SRS.

Other than that, we're all about trick or treating and meet and greets. The biggest issue for me is whether or not my son has taken a nap that day. If he hasn't, I'll be trying to fit in as much with him as I possibly can before he falls asleep, and if he has, it doesn't matter quite as much.

Do you think it would be good to try to fit it in between the first parade and Hallowishes? Or, we could always do after Hallowishes.

So far my plans for my first full day (Thursday 10/1) are breakfast at DTD, then shopping for a few hours. Then I think I will head to the monorail resorts to either relax on the beach at the Poly or GF. I'm thinking GF Cafe for lunch since I doubt I will have trouble getting in without an ADR. I really want to try their lemon cheesecake.....sounds Yum-O. If not there, then maybe either of the CS at the Poly or CR. Then I want to go over to MNSSHP by 5pm (I'm hoping to get in a nap in the room before that).

How could my relaxing day sounds so busy???

I posted on my PTR about this, but everyone feel free to weigh in here.

My thoughts, after ruminating for a bit, are to meet up for a ride on POTC right after Hallowishes. This will give me some time to spend with my son while he's awake during the earlier portion of the party, and then, he'll most likely be asleep during the fireworks.

Yes, if he's tired enough, he sleeps through them. Bless him.

I know Heidi's okay with that, how does everyone else feel?

I'm fine with whatever...pretty flexible at the party!! I definitely am going to be there and see Hallowishes!! Although I'm really really looking forward to meeting the villians (I'm thinking the last meet and greet would be the best, less people LOL)!!!

As far as other meets go...I believe P and I are going to meet up with Jackie and Charles (and hopefully C will be joining us) Saturday Morning in EPCOT and then having lunch at Beaches and Cream. Of course all of this is flexible and subject to change LOL!!!

Either way getting very very excited!!!

What time is everyone's Tea ADRs???? and how much earlier can you be at the GF for a meet before Tea?

I believe our Tea ADR is around 2:00pm. Our pedis are at 12 pm and should only last about an hour which would give us an hour before our tea to just enjoy the GF area and resort.
