Background info: I was DVC from 2007-2017. Sold all my contracts for numerous reasons. Recently purchased a AKV contract and back in the system. Had my same MDE account for years with myself my boys and my mom listed. I've always seem to have 2 accounts under my name within MDE. We have taken other trips since 2017 with direct reservations or off-site with no problems with MDE. 3 of the 4 of us already have magic bands that we wanted to use for this trip.
I went into MDE to link my upcoming AKV reservation and make park reservations with recently purchased tickets. The linked reservation created entirely new people in my family & friends list - myself included (now I have 3 listings under my account in MDE.) What is the easiest way to get this fixed? I've tried calling both MDE support and Member Services but can never actually get to a real person to speak to (well, once last night after 30 minutes I did and she said she had to transfer me but tshe disconnected the call.)
It really can't be this difficult can it?
UPDATE: It is all fixed now. I gave up waiting on the line and selected to get a call back. It took abut 90 min for someone to call back but the CM awas able to fix everything for me. (She was super sweet & helpful and I did the survey to let them know how good she was.) For a company that is pushing for everything to go mobile, they really need to get their act together.
