My friend and I are going down for 7 days and 6 nights on the 2nd week of February. Do you think it's possible to experience every ride, show, pre-show, minor attraction, AND see every Streetmosphere, meeting every single character available if we only are concentrating on the 4 Main Parks? (this also includes all the smaller acts in World Showcase as well: Off-Kilter, Miyuki, Dragon Legend acrobats, etc.)... I've been to the parks 22 times so far since I was a kid and I'm pretty sure I know most of the "Secrets" on how to get around the World fast, enjoying everything. What do you guys think...is it possible?

If all you'll focus on is the main parks, and go from morning until night, then I suppose you could do it all. You'd be dead tired by the end of the week, but I suppose it could be done.

I don't think so... I've been many times, and STILL find cool things. I think that's why so many people return... to exp even more.

I don't think it'd be worth it, either, you wouldn't be relaxing much, shopping, taking in the details, dining at nice places, etc either. You'd have to eat and run =)

If you decide to attempt it, please write us a trip report when you return!

Well, I know that someone rode all of the MK's rides in a single day, but I doubt he had time to stop and listen to the Dapper Dan's and smell the bakery....

well, the only time food is a big deal to me is the sit-down retaurants and EPCOT. I mean 6 1/2 full days to me is a lot. Plus the week is supposed to be pretty slow, so lines aren't going to be that long. I guess since I've been to the parks so many times, this is the chance to just do everything I've missed and all I've done as well. Also when the parks close at night, there's a whole OTHER mess of fun waiting for us at DTD and Boardwalk. :)

I'm definitely going to attempt it though, and I will write a trip report when i get back. This is kind of an experiment for me because I'm going back in September regardless of what happens. :)

Some people like to relax on vacation. But I’m unusual I guess because I’m not planning to relax, I want to overexert myself and do as much as possible. haha. I will have just gotten off my 4 week winter break from college so I don’t really need to relax. I'm a former WDW CM (now a campus rep) so I've seen and done almost everything there is to do there, and I'm going to try to get to do the few things I didn’t when I was there as well as everything else. It's going to be tough,

Do every single thing and meet every single character who is out? No. Cut out the characters and you could probably get everything done, but not in an enjoyable manner, imho. The beauty of WDW is found when you take it slow and savor the details.

I think being from NY, I have a very skewed look on life. haha...I don't enjoy taking life slow. Life has always been fast paced for me.

Not to ruin the surprise or anything, but this is actually for a 2 1/2 hour documentary done in a completely new way than you guys have seen before. If you guys are interested, I'll explain more after we return in mid-Feb. :)

I would buy one of Len Testa's touring plans. Maybe several custom plans! The unofficial guide has some great touring plans in the back, but I'm not sure if they include the characters, small shows, etc.

Definitely contact:

It's a pretty neat site.

Thanks mmeb144!

JRawkSteady, we've done (free) touring plans for people who want to see "everything" in the Magic Kingdom in a single day. The current record is 47 attractions in 11 hours, 24 minutes. The touring plan includes every attraction, show, and live performance in the park, as well as character autographs, games in the arcades, parades and fireworks. Drop me a line if you'd like more information: len@touringplans.com.

I think its possible....I mean you may not see every single thing, but I'm sure there are things you may not want to see also. DH and I went for 9 nights for our honeymoon, we got up early, 6am-ish did stuff, came back in the afternoon to swim, then went out. The last couple days we really had nothing planned and just went on rides we enjoyed, etc. Have fun!

We have a few things going for us. 1st of all we're doing 4 park, but have 7 days. We don't expect to do an entire park in 1 day (well maybe MGM and AK, but certainly not Epcot or MK). Plus the crowds are suposed to minimal that week. I'm woking on a schedual for each individual park. It figures in walk time, wait time, and lenght of time at each attraction. I have to say, Fast Pass is a god! And we are taking advantage of emh in both the day and the night. As soon as I figure out some of our plans I will post them and ask for everyones suggestions. I'm working on MGM Studios right now. Can't wait to let you all know how it goes

I don' t think there are enough hours in the day. But, I am sure that someone has tried to do this before.

Personally, I feel that people that try to "do it all" are missing the point. WDW is supposed to be a vacation, not a marathon.....official Disney Marathon participants exclude. I love just taking my time and seeing the sights, hearing the joyous laughter, smelling the smells of popcorn-turkey legs-baking cookies-hotdogs-beaver tails, or just sitting on a bench and watching the clouds go by and the occasional sight of a bird or two floating on a breeze for a few minutes and watch some other people's kids be totally entranced by all the pixie dust and magic. We love the rides and the shows, but this is how we "do it all". I might not be everyone's way of enjoying WDW, but it suits us just fine. Maggie

All I have to say is....I want to read your trip report when you come back!!! :cheer2: Sounds like you have the makings of a great adventure!!!

we LIVE down here and still haven't done all you describe. Maybe you can, but don't be disappointed if you can't!

Welcome to the DIS. I think it is do-able. You are going at the right time of year when you can see & do the most. And 7 days exclusively at 4 parks is actually a long time. You can do AK in a day, MGM in a day, EPCOT's FW in a day & then maybe 2 mornings/early afternoons at MK with late afternoons/evenings at EPCOT's WS, maybe another full day at MK & then you still have a day to finish whatever you might have missed at MK & WS.
Every idea of a vacation is as unique as the person planning it. What works for some may not work for others. I think your plan sounds interesting & I can't wait to read your trip report or see your documentary (I love anything Disney). You sound young enough to try something fun like this now & then you'll still have many years to stop & smell the roses on future vacations. Have a great time!

hehe I'm 23. :) I love to take things slow sometimes, but I"ve been there done that many times. Plus I was a CM in the parks for a while as well. I figure each time I go back, I'm going to look at The World in a different way. Thanks for all your input guys! And thanks for welcoming me, I wish I'd known this board existed before. :)
