Evermore Resort - Any updates or anyone planning a stay?

My eyes popped for a second, before I realized these are prices for the units that can house 10+ people. I certainly wouldn't pay those prices for just my own family, but splitting it between 3-4 families? That makes it quite reasonable. I don't think it's an apples to apples comparison to a more general hotel room space.
Uh, the 10 bedroom I saw was over $4000/night, all in, for the dates I selected. The 2 br were over $900 per night. This was not during Spring Break, either.

The two bedroom villas allow for 4 guests maximum.

By way of comparison, a DVC villa, which depending on the resort can be booked via cash for less than this in the 1 BR typically would house at least 5, and the 2 BR DVC villas typically host 8-9. By the way, the DVC villa rate includes parking, which I believe here does not...

We would love to try this property, as we actually are rather partial to Grand Cypress resort, but I'd rather spend the money to stay on property, or get a suite at S&D or Grand Cypress Hyatt Regency - both could be had for less, and the S&D suites allow you to walk into two parks...

lol, yeah, I’m looking at 4 bedroom villas. I think the date range I looked at was 1200/night? Obviously there’s a range - I would say the price range I saw for the dates I was looking out for July were worth it but those higher end ones would definitely not be.

For what it’s worth I have a friend who stayed there a few months ago and really enjoyed it. He said the quality was fantastic and he would definitely recommend it.

It’s also 1800 sq ft. — another 400 beyond OKW’s 2BD. And no one is sleeping on a sleeper chair.

The prices also strike me as very “flat” in that the 4BD units are only a small premium (but only 1900 sq ft). I think the model here is different. Where DVC units are designed to cram as many people as possible into a small space, this place takes the opposite approach where everyone expects their own bedroom with adequate space to spread out.

I’m not arguing that it’s a good value. I don’t think it is. But it isn’t trying to be DVC,

It’s probably not a good value relative to the substantial oversupply of cheap timeshare-style lodging in the Orlando area, but it’s not outrageously expensive either given that it’s at a higher level of luxury than, for example, Sheraton Vistana.
