Ever wondered what that online store realy looks like?

Check out this site this fellow went around to all those companies we see in the backs of magazines and see online and took pics of them.
Also compared names and address and cross-referenced them with all their other names.

Very neat!

I heard that! And to see how many different names one place uses (I hate to call them a company) depending on what the market wants from Plasma Tv's to Inkjet ink!

Just another reason to stick with the online shops you know.

So many of the online camera places are scams, and the ones that aren't are truly hurt by the ones that are. I was taken by one, which was named something like ExpressCamera. Since then, I have only dealt with places that I can physically walk into and walk out with the camera. The only online place I will deal with is bhphotovideo.com. They are legit. But even with that, the first time I bought from them I actually went into New York City to pick up the item and make sure the place was legit.

figuring NYC real estate those dinky places probably still are $$$$ i check resellers and some other places and buy with confidence so far haven't been taken -yet- knocking on wood- crossing fingers and toes-

I've actually found that the "birds eye view" feature of microsoft maps can give you a pretty good idea about the kind of storefront business you're dealing with.
Punch in some of the addresses from the Brooklynstores site and have a look.
