Ever WON a trip to Disney? Or a prize big enough to pay for the trip??

I won a VCR once. I wish I had luck like that! I did enter the contests that were posted.. Crossing my fingers, cause I can't wait to go back! :Pinkbounc

Well today I got a letter at work. It said Visit Milwaukee. I said as I was opening it .. well I live here so why would I visit.

Well it was from a Conference I attended. There was a drawing if you got a card signed by 2 booths in each row. I had started it and then decided oh I had better go back when I saw one of the prizes was 2 round trip airline tickets.

I ended up winning a $50.00 GC to a really nice resteruant in town. :cool1: One I told DS we would never go to since I could never afford it.

I was very surprised that I won!

I just won a 6 night trip for 4 to WDW, including air, tickets, resort. The ARV is $8,500.00    I was the Grand Prize winner in the Radio Disney/ Tylenol contest that ran Sept to Nov. Iwas just notified last week. I am currently working with the travel agent to arange my trip. Any advice?

Well, I'm waiting to hear that I won the recent Family Fun Disney vacation sweepstakes! LOL! :) They're supposed to announce the winner in early June, but so far nothing ....

Well, DH went to Atlantic City this weekend as a "boys getaway" with some of his friends, and he won almost $2,000!! That paid for a nice chunk of our trip that we have been planning for December.

Not EXACTLY Disney...

The summer I got married, we planned a 7 day DCL (I got married on CC) followed by 4 days at POFQ, followed by 3 days at my DGMIL's in Bradenton. Quite a trip, once in a lifetime.

A local radio station was running a promotion. They asked a question from That 70's show, and my husband was the correct caller and got the answer right! He wona 4 day all expense paid trip to Sea World for 4, hotel, spending money, rental car, T-shirts, beach bags, and these tiny little digital cameras. Pretty cool, heh.

But get this! This trip was set up for a week and a half after we got back from our other Orlando trip! So we spent nearly the entire month of July in Orlando! We didn't do WDW for this second leg, we decided to sit through a timeshare speil for tickets to IOA (Seaworld for 4 days, ummmm, no)

My first wdw trip in 97 was free due to an incentive program at the company I was working with at the time. Well that got me hooked, I'm up to 3 trips a year so that free trip has ended up costing quite a bit. :smooth:

I won a turkey about 10 years ago. Yee Haa!

I won a trip to DW back in 1999 through the Bob and Tom show. They are syndicated all over the country now. This was the last trip they took to Disney/Orlando. I live in Indy and entered the contest, as I had done every year prior to that. They called my name on the radio and I called in. It didn't include park tickets, but we had airfare and hotel, which was the Dolphin, and it was over Mother's Day weekend. A couple weeks after that, my best friend won a trip to Las Vegas through the same radio station! So we went to Florida and Vegas in one month! Wooo Hooo. I enter contests all the time, but I haven't won since.

I did!

Two years ago I won a 6N/7D trip to DL from Regis & Kelly. It included airfare, 5 day PH, car rental & the Presidential Suite at the Westin Bonaventure in LA. It was so big we had to shut down part of the suite because my DS11 felt "too far away" from us. After dinner our first night, we arrived back at our suite to find a wonderful dessert buffet set up with vouchers for all of our meals & spa treatments :cool1:

Trip of a lifetime!

Yes, yes, yes, my dh did through corporate headquarters for his job - top manager in his district for 2004, so we leave in 8 days for our "free" trip. We had to pick from about 6 destinations and the family trip destination was WDW.

The prize is a trip for 4, lodging at AKL, flights, park hopper passes, DTD passes, transportation to/from airport, breakfast vouchers, cash allowances for lunch/dinners, tickets to some extra items. This is a jackpot for us!!!! We have 3 children so we had to pay for one flight and our room upgrade, but that was less than $800 total.

Next year's family trip is a Disney cruise so I told my dh to work really hard to be first again. That would be a great 20th anniversay gift!!!

I don't know if this counts, but I just got back from the trip I earned as a sales consultant for a direct sales company. I guess I "earned" the trip as opposed to "winning" it, but it was just for doing the job I would have been doing anyway. No matter how you look at it, it was awesome!!!!

I did!!! I won the Invent Now America last year for childrens shoelaces i had invented. I won a free trip to ASMo and flights paid for. The show was at Universal, so i had free passes there too. Its the best thing I have ever won!!!

Didn't win a trip to WDW, but my husband has won two trips through work. One was to the Atlantis in the Bahamas and the second was a 7 night cruise on NCL! It is sooo much fun to travel when someone else is footing the bill!

:cool1: :rotfl: :cool1:

Last spring I won a truck from a local sports radio talk show. I was the tenth caller and then I picked the correct key from a pile. DW and I talked about going down to meet our friends who were staying at WL but decided not to and eventually got a new driveway, new deck and a new furnace for the house. I guess we made the right decision.

Add me to the list. We're taking our September trip because we won 2 free round trip tickets to Orlando from JetBlue.

Okay, doesn't include lodging or park tickets, but what else would you do in Orlando? ;)

I got a "hole in one" in a golf outing and one a Chevy S10 pick-up truck, sold the truck to buy my future wife's engagement ring. Still married eight years later so it was a good investment from the truck proceeds.

My husband won a vacation to Italy through Buick. He won it from Customer Satisfaction replies-he worked as a Body Shop manager at a Dealership. It was 10 years ago this week. That was a trip of a life time. We stayed in Rome at the Hilton all week. But we did one day trips to Florence and to Venice.

We also received a 1099, but our tax refund we were suppose to get paid the taxes on the trip so we didn't owe the IRS anything that year.

Did anyone win the a trip from Alamo? :confused3

I was the 30th person through the gates at DL on July 17, 1985 (DL's 30th), so I was "free" that day. Not sure how it worked because I was 7, but I believe they reimbursed my parents for my ticket, and gave us something that allowed us to not pay for meals that day. Does that count?
