Ever wanted to have dinner in the middle of one of your favorite attractions?

You know something I've noticed at other, non Disney, parks is that some of their restaurants are integrated into their rides. DL does have the one in POC and DW has the Mexican, Garden and the Sea restaurants at the Expo. However, I would love to see them do it on a much larger scale.
Have fish and chips overlooking the London scene in Peter Pan (or how about in the new LM ride? ;) ). Have pork and beans (or southwestern? ) at the Thunder Mountain mining camp. A nice stately dinner at the ToT. A ghoulish feast in the HM?
Would be so cool and the plus for Disney would be people on the rides would get hungry seeing the other people eating.

And only $165 including tax and tip. Includes appetizers, a chicken dish, a steak dish, sides, and a dessert buffet, plus wine. For that price range (actually a bit more) I prefer V&A.

And it is sold out.

I was thinking the same thing. Especially ToT and Haunted Mansion. The theming could be incredible.

Not sure about now, but in the past you could rent the HM for dinner. They used the lobby, and both stretch rooms, one table in each room, holding about 12 people at each table. After dinner you got to ride the attraction.

I agree, I like any integration of different attractions/restaurants/etc.

That would be incredible. I would love to eat in the attractions! I bet it would be waaay too expensive for most park guests though and too much of a hassle. It reminds me of in the World Showcase how for some of the resturants they don't even have the kitchens in the resturants, they have to travel to get to the kitchen. With the attractions already built it would be a pretty big problem unless it was fairly small private parties.

Yeah,
Sea World had a restaurant built in with their rapid water ride. It was pretty cool. All the running water just made for a nice environment and add the screaming water drenched raft every few minutes or so, it was just fun. It wasn't more expensive than any other restaurant either as it was a full sized sit down establishment.
DW would have to build the restaurants in like with a major refurbishment (FL anyone?). Frankly, I think they need to ground up rebuild the MK and MGM anyway. With MK they could just do one land at a time but MGM needs to be leveled so they can put together a functional flow pattern.
IMO, Disney’s plans for FL are a bit shortsighted. Special meet and greets with a bunch of Princesses where you dance or do arts and crafts? Heck no! Put those wenches to work and make them serve me my food and drinks!
Have a different character serve each table. 7 dwarves covers 7 tables. And they get tips too! Win, win...

Someone once told me (aka a former Disney CM) that they once held a dinner in the terrace (I think) of ToT....now that must have been kinda sweet!

I have always thought about
. . . a Twinkie brunch inside "it's a small world"
. . . a Tang breakfast inside "Space Mountain"
. . . a Frog Legs dinner inside "Muppet's"
. . . a Sushi lunch inside "Voyage of the Little Mermaid"
. . . a Milky Way candy bar snack inside "Star Tours"

Seafood inside The Seas with Nemo and Friends. Oh wait, they sort of already have that, don't they? ;)

Pete, John, Kathy and Kevin from the DIS Unplugged podcast (and DISboards.com owners) are going to the TIW event and should be posting details in the Podcast forum later.

This is an option for some of our corporate events that we've investigated. Of course it's very expensive, but definitely unforgetable. We ended up doing just an ice cream bar at the Epcot fireworks due to budget constraints, but hope to do something like this in the future.

After seeing you could do some of this stuff for a wedding when I was researching, I totally want to!!!!!! I'd love to have a reception in the Wizard of Oz!

I could stand to eat dinner in the haunted mansion. Better yet, I wouldn't mind living there.
