Ever taken a TENS unit into parks?

Has anyone ever taken a portable TENS unit into WDW? Did you have any problem getting through security with it? Do you need a doctor's note or anything like that?

You know, I took it with me on the trip but didn't need to use it. It never even occured to me that I might have a problem at security if I would have had it on! Good thing I didn't need it! I could just see them hauling me off for suspected terrorism!

You know I think it is clearly a medical device so they should not be too concerned about it. If you have the booklet to your unit bring it with you so they can see that as well perhaps.

This is a really good question that I've never thought to ask. I always bring mine, but so far I've only used it back at the resort. Hopefully someone will come along with a definite answer.

Mine is so small, they would probably think it was some sort of portable player.
I can't imagine that they would even notice much. But, like someone said, I would just bring the pack and instructions along just in case.

When we went to WDW in October, we had a communication device for our DD in her backpack (we were trialing it). It looks like a small tablet computer. The security people did usually ask what it was, but took our explanation. If they had wanted to know more, we didn't have any literature about it, but could have easily turned it on and demonstrated it.

I agree with the others that the security people may not show much interest in it, but it would be helpful to have a booklet or something to explain it.
