I'm probably crazy to even think about this, but, I am out to save a lot of money. We'll be eligible for DME going back to airport but we arrive one day early and will be staying at a hotel near the airport for the first night. Disney's official word is we will NOT be eligible for DME with that arrangement. So I see on Mousesavers that the city bus is pretty cheap...anyone try it? I'll have dh, me, ds5, ds5, and ds2 with us. I can carry the baby, the twins can carry backpacks, dh can handle two large suitcases by himself...is it possible? Or is it back to the drawing boards?

Can't you just tell Disney that you are coming in on your check-in day and get from the airport hotel to the airport with the airport hotel transportation or however you are getting there in the first place? Carry your own bags to ME, lots of people do. Just pick a corresponding flight number and you are all set.

I highly recommend against using Lynx, for the sole reason of the kids. To use the Lynx bus, you'd have to take the bus from the airport to Downtown Orlando. Then switch to a bus to the Transportation & Ticket Center. Each of these buses is 50 minute drives. From the TTC, you then have to take a monorail to the Magic Kingdom, and then another bus from there. All things considered, it's a lot of transfers, and potentially 3-4 hours.
