Ever Hear of People Cancelling Their Reservations? Esp. for PP Tea at GF?

We are still learning, and I have now learned that you must book everything way in advance.

That being said, do people ever cancel their reservations for things like the Perfectly Princess Tea with Sleeping Beauty? We are going next week and will be there the 15th through the 20th and are going to be calling up until the 17th to check for cancellations as refunds are given up til 72-hours before.

Anyone ever get lucky and book these last minute?

When we were there in October, one of the mothers told me that she had been calling every morning and that someone had cancelled that day. She found out at 8am, got her daughter ready and made it over. Keep trying. When things need to be booked so far ahead there are bound to be cancellations.

people cancel all the time....we've been to CRT about 4 times for breakfast by getting someone's canceled ADR.

Absolutely--people cancel all the time for all sorts of reasons. When we went to CRT in December, there was a CM outside asking if anyone wanted to lunch with the princesses--they had some unexpected availability. We had ADR, but someone else got it.

Bottom line on all ressies--if at first you don't get it, keep calling. You can never predict when you called at just the right time and the computer shows an opening. If you don't get it before you arrive, let the concierge at your resort work on it for you. If you are willing to take "short notice", they can sometimes help you (like if someone cancels the day before.....)
