Ever had a scary ride on one of the buses?

We used the buses the whole month of Jan this year. Every bus obeyed the law. It could be because the sheriff is in town. They are now issuing traffic tickets all over WDW.

I would say that a scary ride on a Disney bus is worth a complaint at Guest Relations at your next destination. Do a Google search for "Malbone Wreck", that is about a subway motorman who was apparently behind schedule. Not too long ago, I think the trip was from Boston to Canada, a tour bus with children aboard rolled over when taking a cloverleaf too fast.

As far as gates stuck down or buses ending up maneuvering on the grass, many transit systems give their drivers infractions for breaking the mirrors, scuffing curbs, or hitting gates which have not risen completely.

Not a scary ride really...but one evening our bus driver got lost...it was hilarious! He said he was NEW, this was his first day, and at first we thought he was kidding because he was so jovial.

Well, after about an hour of him driving around, going on the wrong routes, etc...he wasn't joking! Oh and when he finally got to the All Star resorts he went into the wrong part (?) instead of the bus section for dropping off!

Needless to say it was interesting! :rotfl2:

We had a similar experience. Our driver was also new. He missed his turn or road and we ended up going off Disney property. He turned around and found his missed route. We've had some slow drivers and some fast ones, but have never felt unsafe. We really enjoy the ones who give us all kinds of trivia and are friendly. All in all, they do a fantastic job especially with all of us tired and cranky people at the end of the day. It is a wonderful vacation when DH can park the car and leave the transportation woes to someone else.
