it was ok - food was pricey but overall fair value for what you got, the wine was overpriced. I was familiar with several of the wines by the glass, and had a hard time paying $15 for a glass of wine when I could buy an entire bottle (retail) for $17-20. I am used to wine being on a 100-150% markup, 200+% was steep to me. the atmosphere wasn't great, we didn't have a reservation and were lucky to snag a table in the bar area. It was last spring, and the place was crazy with prom dates. So it was noisy and crowded and not the subdued high-end steakhouse feel I was expecting. I'm sure it would be different on another night.
The food was very good to excellent- DH and I split a couple of small appetizers, he also ordered a steak. I didn't want steak and ordered a hearty appetizer as my entree. It was tempura veggies and langoustines - and while delicious, was still way too big for me to finish. It would have been a generous appetizer for 4 to share. We did not order or drink extravagantly, and our bill was still in the $150 range. I've determined that steakhouses are not my preferred dining splurge.
