Events in August?

Hi all,
We are going to be in the Orlando area mid-August, and were curious if there are any local events, festivals, etc going on in the city during that time?

If you check the Visit Orlando site, they have a list of events categorized by type - concerts, sporting events, festivals, etc.

Check out Orlando Weekly online closer to your trip. They always have a really comprehensive list of what's going on in town.

The Orlando Boat Show is the only thing I could find slated for mid-August. Unfortunately it's still very hot here during that time so most big events/festivals don't start until October.
