Evening parade October?

Hi, the calendar on disney's site shows no parade in the evening. I know the Electric Parade is leaving on the 9th and i HOPE that they put something in it's place. I'm making FP+ for that evening and i'd like to know what time the parade would likely be. 10 is Wishes that day. Would parade be at 8 or 9?

There is no replacement for MSEP. Your night time entertainment options at MK after Oct. 9 are Celebrate the Magic and Wishes.

has this been confirmed? DH is trying to give a glimer of hope.... I had plans to come back to the park for parade and fireworks... no point in going back, we can see the fireworks from our resort.

Nothing is replacing MSEP for the foreseeable future. Disney has no incentive to rush a replacement in during holiday party season -- we're talking about three nights a week. People will still flock to MK for fireworks. And perhaps this pushes some guests to the night time offerings at the other parks to ease the non-party-night crush at MK. With all that, plus the ongoing budget slashing at WDW, it makes sense that Disney is in no hurry to replace MSEP.

They are up NOW.
They can simply turn them on whenever they want to.

They won't turn the lights on until the Christmas season at WDW starts. There is also no nighttime parade scheduled for WDW after Oct. 9th except for parties.

Generally, they start lighting the Castle Frozen/Ice/Dream Lights a few days before the first MVMCP.
They are often the very first "Christmas thing" that happens at WDW, predating everything else.

Last year, the Castle Lights started on Wednesday Nov 4. Jingle Cruise may have also started that day but we didn't visit it until Friday Nov 6.

On Monday Nov 2 - everything was still Halloween and by Wednesday everything was Christmas - including the trees! Pretty spectacular transformation!

I am not too bummed about MSEP - I prefer the FoF Parade instead but it did suck up crowds and that is something I will miss!

that will be exciting to see it transformed! -still bummed about the parade.. but i am excited to see FoF parade. We missed seeing it last year.
