Even more Disney Visa Rewards card questions

Hey everybody,

I know there have been a million posts about the Disney Visa Rewards cards, but I just spent 30 minutes searching and couldn't find them. I have several questions (please forgive my wordiness).

I didn't realize it would take me so long to accumulate points, and now I am left with two weeks until my trip and only 18 rewards dollars. I was thinking I could make $200 in purchases to get me up to 20, but I was reading the rules and regulations, and I think I might be SOL. My most recent statement payment is due in 10 days (though I didn't spend anything, so technically not). Since I would be putting any new purchases on the statement that has yet to come out and my trip is in two weeks, is there absolutely no way I would be able to get the rewards dollars? I read on these boards before about being able to get your rewards dollars while in Disney, but do you have to have an existing rewards card for this? Since rewards dollars take a while to post, is there no way for me to get those credited so I can cash out?

Sorry for being confusing. I am so mad at myself because I'm pretty sure I won't be able to get my rewards in time for the trip

I don't believe the extra 2.00 would be available until your next statement. You can still order a reward card and get those 18.00 to spend this trip.

By the looks of your sig I see you go about every year. I wouldn't worry about $18 to 20 dollars for this trip, the dollars won't expire for a long, long time and I would just start working on having a ton for next year Once you are doing it for a while they do add up fast and you get the bonuses in the mail.

I put literally everythng that I can on our Disney Visa, including our car insurance and our house insurance. Everything that I can buy, even if it is only $3.00, I put it on our card. We usually get between $200 and $300 in rewards dollars every year.

I don't believe the extra 2.00 would be available until your next statement. You can still order a reward card and get those 18.00 to spend this trip.

You have to transfer at least 20.00 reward dollars for the initial transfer. (After that the minimum transfer amount is 10.00 reward dollars.)
