If you rent an ECV from an outside source can they be taken onto the Disney buses, boats and monorails?

Hi WDW71,

did you read the disABILITIE-faq yet? They're full of great info. Post 4 is all about wdw busses when using a wc or ecv, and there is a post on there about the boats and monorails. There were measurements of the lifts mentioned somewhere (because I looked for myself), but can't find them right now.

I will look there. Thank you very much:thumbsup2

There are some extra long or extra wide ECVs that might not fit on the buses that have lifts, but the newer buses have ramps and should not be a problem.
The larger boats are usually not a problem (very occassionally the boat to/from MK to WL is). There are some small boats that go between MK and the MK resorts that are not accessible, but you can ride the monorail to those resorts.

I think the measurements that madenon mentioned having seen are in the FAQs thread about buses.
