EVC cost in the parks

Last November when I went to Disney I rented and ECV from an outside company because we were going to 9 days and it was more economical that way. This trip I am going with my sister only for 4 days. It also would be too hard for us to keep taking it in and out of the car trunk and assemble it (I had my DH and DS's to do it last time).
I am wondering what the going rate for one is in the parks and will I have a difficult time making sure I get one each day due to availability?

I copied and pasted the information for you from post 2 of the disABILITIES FAQs thread.
ECVs: $50/day and $20 key deposit that you will get back when the key is returned, so you pay $70 and get $20 of that back with the key return. (price increase as of 11/20/09)
-If an ECV/wheelchair from the Magic Kingdom is not available, a guest can be waitlisted by providing their cellphone number. (If the guest does not have a cellphone, they can ask any Cast Member for access to a house phone.) If one becomes available, they can pick it up at the main entrance rental location. (This is from the WDW website and is subject to change)

If you are there early, soon after park opening and before about 10:30 am, you have a good chance of getting one, but there is no guarantee.

If you have to go on the wait list, you can use a wheelchair until an ECV becomes available.

If you need an absolute guarantee of getting an ECV, the only option would be to rent from one of the offsite places.
I noticed you are staying at Wilderness Lodge and wanted to make sure you were aware that buses and most boats are wheelchair and ECV accessible, so driving is not your only option. You might find that using WDW transportation or combining using some WDW transportation and some driving would make renting from offsite doable for you.
