Evacuated from Chez Remy

We were enjoying our “okay” meal at Chez Remy this evening when we heard a faint persistent sound sounding like a clock chiming. Realizing it was not on the hour we wondered what it could be. Finally after 10 min it ended and music resumed. Only to have moments later to have crews run thru the restaurant ordering everyone to “get out” quickly!! The entire restaurant was ushered out very fast as well as the ride without explanation. First the crowd lingered but dispersed away from the buildings . We hung out wondering what would happen next and would we get out dessert. Some people were mid dinner. So as it looked as many just walked away, we did the same. The fire crew came in and then we saw doors shut and locked . Has anyone else had this type of experience ? No one made any announcements of what we should do or anything!! ?!

Fire in the kitchen, probably, it's not the first time.
A few years ago, I walked by the Auberge de Cendrillon, something looked off. So we went in. There had been a fire in the kitchen in the morning, therefore lunch and dinner was cancelled for that day. The people with a reservation could come in to meet the princesses. (We talked our way in and got to meet all the princesses and about 20 minutes uninterrupted character fun ;-) )

Had you paid for your dinner yet? If yes, I would go to City Hall to get your money back, or if you have a meal plan, to put the value back on your magic pass.
If you haven't paid yet, have dinner somewhere else.

Fire alarm went off
