a few weeks ago i booked my eurostar tickets for our trip in july thinking i would get in the early coz the prices had already started going up. I booked 2 youth tickets for £110 outbound and £59 return and just went a looked back on the eurostar website to see how much they are now and the price has dropped to £59 outbound and £59 coming back if i'd known the prices were likely to drop i would have waited a few more weeks!

ouch!

i booked mine for this weekend back in december and its £65 return (v.v.v. happy with that, saved us so much money than booking through disney that we were able to get an extra day/night!) but i suppose july is a much busier time!

oh well, you win some, you lose some - theres always a better deal than what you're getting, but if you wait around for it you risk not getting anything at all!

It's sooooooo annoying when that happens.

Once I've booked something I try not to check the rate anymore just in case it goes down, unless it's something that can be cancelled without any charge. Of course, if I do check and it goes up then I'm delighted!! :yay:

Look on the bright side, at least you didn't pay £110 each way.
