If anyone else was on the direct train last Wednesday with the delay due to breaking down, check your emails. I found in my junk folder one addressed to my son?! Offering us compensation for the delay. Just need another flash sale now!! Also might apply to those who were coming home that day?

i'm visiting DLRP for the 1st time in Sept now, and have been reading the boards, and keep seeing stuff about flash sales? who does these? what are they?

It was brilliant, room view was over the park, we had a view of the train station and could see Space Mountain! Worth every penny just for the breakfast, never knew it could be so calm and relaxing at breakfast time! We popped back to room a couple of times when kids wanted a rest and it was a bit chilly! Only trouble is I think we have been spoilt now and won't want to stay anywhere else!
Highlight of my boys trips, meeting Rachandgarry in Salon Mickey and their lovely young man sharing a chocolate coin with them, they are still talking about the real chocolate they had!
If I can work out how to post pictures I will have a go at a trip report!

Flash sales are discount prices offered by DLRP for a short period of time. eg, a couple of weeks ago there was a 50% flash sale discount that lasted for 5 or 6 days. It usually means booking at very short notice though as the dates of the offer are limited.
