Hi cat and welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:
We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

If you have not had a look yet, posting guidelines can be found here and details regarding help on signatures here

I can't help with Eurostar but I'm sure when others log on they will be able to help :goodvibes

Its very nice, meals are better than coach international air travel food but dont expect something as good as say your favorite restaurant. The staff is very charming and there will be a couple of people to wait on you throughout the voyage. I am assuming you are booking Eurostar first rather than castle class which does not include food. Seats are wider and there should be an area for a wheelchair if you prefer to remain in it rather than move to a seat. If lucky you will get one of the train sets with the new Phillip Stark interiours which are very new and nice. Have a great trip!

Hi, Does anyone has pics on the new Philip Stark interior?? I will be travelling in 1st class for next July, do you think all the trains will have the new interior by then??
There are a total of 9 of us going and we have booked the eurostar seats (together with hotels etc) via disney direct. Unfortunately, disney direct said they can't guarantee the 9 of us will be seated together because they can't choose or pre-book the seats. Is there a way for me to make sure that we are all seated together and preferably to have seats with tables?

hiya pink angel

me and my son are both wheelchair users and we used eurostar in july for our first trip to disneylandparis. we are going again via eurostar next august.

we went from waterloo.

we found the service good. the only downside that won't affect you was there are only two wheeelchair spaces on each disneyland tarain and these are in different carriages. so my son and i had to be seated in different carriages with the rest of our travelling party split between the two carriages.

the breakfast on the way out was fairly good - although for us it felt more like dinnertime as it was after 11.00 i think before we got our breakfast. we had it after the ashford people had got on.

did you have a blue pass last time you went to disney. we did and found it really useful

where did you stay last time we stayed at explorers and we are going there again.

if you want to know anything else please ask

hi debs

thanks for your reply

this is the first time traveling out in a wheelchair for me and the family, as last year i was able to go on crutches, but now things have changed.

its all been booked today..on coach 9 of the the disneyland train. leaving from ashford. as i will be in the first class bit with my sis, my mum and dad have upgraded to 1st class so they will be near us. and theyve seated us near as possible which is good.

last year we stayed at sequia lodge..next year its the big one..the disneyland hotel.

its all a bit new doing it all wheelchair way, so if anyones got any handy tips..let me know lol

thanks

Sorry, can't help here because we always book Eurostar ourselves.

We have never found Leisure Select busy though, if that's any help. :)

Hi cat, welcome to the DIS! :welcome:

We travel in Leisure Select and find it great ~ a very calm and relaxing atmosphere and the food is good too, much better than airline food and with proper cutlery too! :teeth:
