Hi Everyone, I need some advice. I am creating a book and need just a (relatively) few pictures that I don't have in my own library. I was wondering what the best ethical way of finding and using photos as well as finding the owner of those photos and asking for permission and providing credit. I really have no idea on where I can find something like this, as I have always just used my own photos. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Depending on what the photos are of, you can ask on a forums like here, or you could also register with one of the stock photo companies and get them there.

You might try searching on Flickr. If you find a photo you are interested in you can contact the owner through Flickr.
