Estimated time to get from MK to DTD BBB and back again

My DD is dead set she wants to do the BBB on our MK day. So far, the only reservation I've been able to get is at 11:15 at DTD. I've been calling and trying to get it moved to the MK location but no luck so far. If we are unable to move it, how much time do you estimate it will take to travel by bus from MK to DTD for her reservation and back again? I'm not wild about missing all that time in the park. I've been trying to talk her out of doing BBB (telling her I'll make her a princess myself) but it's the thing she is looking forward to most.

I would recommend walking over to the Contemporary resort and catching the bus to DTD from there. Then on the way back, take the bus to the Contemporary and walk back to the MK. The rule of thumb is to allow about 45 minutes for the bus (wait time in case you just miss the bus and then travel time, which may include stops at other resorts). It's about half a mile from the MK bag check to the Contemporary valet station (where the taxis will be). I think most folks can probably walk it in 10 to 15 minutes, so I would say to allow about 2 hours for transportation to and from MK to DTD.
