Estimate of weekday wait times w/EP during spring break?

For those who have gone recently, particularly around President's Day, what do you think EP waits will be like weekdays during the week of 3/27? Trying to decide if we want to swap our WDW trip for Universal.

Thanks.

I can’t tell you how it has been lately, but I was there Thanksgiving week, which I’m guessing was about what the weeks of spring break will be. 15 minutes or less for most attractions with EP. Of course Portifino Bay was not open which means less EP visitors.

We have waited 40-45 on past Spring breaks (2019) for Gringott’s and Kong. *that was for after 4 express.

we were there Christmas 2019 at PB and all express pass rides were less than 15 except Gringots, that was 30.
Hogwarts express could take 15-20 depending on if we just missed a train.

We were there for Thanksgiving 2020 and President's Day. Thanksgiving was the "holy grail" for EPs, with the shortest waits we've seen for a holiday season. Most rides were < 5 minutes. President's Day definitely had longer EP lines with PBH open, but still better than pre-Covid trips.

Spring Break will likely have larger crowds, as they are re-opening another hotel (ESS). If you go in for EE, you should be able to do quite a bit with minimal waits before the crowds hit.

But ESS won't effect EP lines unless they pay for it seperately, right?

ESS will mean more people in for EE. Since EPs do not work for EE (not sure when that started but affected us on our trip last month), you can still find yourself in a long line for FJ or Gringotts. But you are correct that they would have to buy EPs separately to impact the EP lines...

Thanks for the clarification.

Well dang, I didn't know about that either. I wonder if they will keep up the no EPs for EE policy during the spring break craziness when I am there? That definitely throws a slight monkey wrench in my early morning plans for FJ and Gringotts.

Ive obviously not been, but can’t you just use EP on those rides later?

Yep, I definitely can, but I was trying to get to Leaky Cauldron by 8am-ish for breakfast. I have both my park days planned where I do Wizarding World stuff in the mornings before it gets too crowded.
