ESPN World of Sports

Hello-what would be the best/fastest way to get from MK to ESPN World of Sports around 11:30? My sister and son will stay in the parks while I watch my daughter compete at ESPN. Also-is there anyplace to eat or anything else to do at ESPN?

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Our first day we will be at AK, and I have no other commitments that day. It is an 8 am opening day, so as I understand it, we can either be at bus (staying at AOA) at 6:30 am or grab a lyft at 7. Does that seem right?

Just take a taxi/Uber/Lyft.

To answer one of your other questions, there is quite literally nothing else to do as ESPN but watch the competitions.

Agree that a ride share will be the most efficient transportation to World of Sports. They do have a quick serve restaurant there and sometimes food trucks - not sure of hours of operation these days ... suggest you check. Not much else to do there that I have seen outside of runDisney weekends when they have the expos running.

What is the event? The size of that is going to determine what all is available and if there is anything else to do besides the competition. I was there for the USSSA Softball World Series in 2017, there were vendor tents all over the complex and concession stands open at every venue, in addition to the Wide World of Sports Grill.

These big events do attract all sorts of businesses and exhibitors, don't they...

It is not super big I don't think. It's the UDA Dance Team National Championship

That will fill the arena, so you'll have the concession stands and the Grill. Maybe some vendors.
