ESPN Wide World of Sports, What to do There?

I was looking over my resort reservation (a basic package), and they gave me an entitlement of one round of mini golf or admission to ESPN Wide World of Sports.

Ok, I get mini golf, putter, ball, hit it through the hole under the windmill, don't hit the *SNAP* blade...

What's the admission to ESPN get me? I looked all day online for any type of details, and I've found nothing. Does it just get me into the complex so I can look around? Any batting cage tokens, or anything of that sort?

Unless there are any events going on it doesn't get you anything more than looking around.

Really? Then again, this is Marathon weekend I'm talking about. Most of the buildings will probably be taken up with the Expo and bib pick up, anyway.

... Wait, we don't need to actually pay admission to get our bibs, do we?

Marathon weekend it's all race activities. The place will have the expo, bib and shirt pick up as well as the kid races.

It is open to the public during race expos. No admission required.

Thanks for the info. I guess if I'm going to use this entitlement, it'll be for mini golf.

Hide yo windmills!

I don't even understand why they put that in there.
There are really no events the general public would want to attend, are there?
I mean, there are various youth sports events but really, does anyone want to go watch a bunch of 9/10 yo play baseball, unless they know one of those 9/10 yo?
Do those passes get you in when it's Spring Training time? Not that anyone would actually want to go see the Braves either. Those 9/10 yo are probably better :rotfl:

That could get you in for Spring training but I think you still have to get another ticket to watch the game.

You do need a separate ticket purchased through the Braves to enter the ballpark. I suppose the standard ESPN pass might get you into the general areas, but nowhere to see the game.
